So this is actually about the GAS STATION HERE instead of the actual grocery store but i am just…read moregoing to write it here. -------------------------------------- This morning, I went to the gas station to fill up before I went to Work. however, my gas hatch wasn't opening and I was getting really frustrated, so I went inside to ask for help. I explained my problem very politley to the woman and she just gave me a blank stare like and said "well what do YOU suggest i do?" (WHATTT??) then She gave me a screwdriver and told me to try that. she said it could break the hatch and I was genuinely terrified. I didn't want to break my Car!! after a while with the Screwdriver, nothing was working so I went back in to tell her and she just gave me a blank stare and i was seriously holding back tears. I had to leave and she wasn't helping! she told me to try AGAIN so I went back OUT to try again and finally got it open. not once did this woman go out to help me. when I told her I got it Open, she just shrugged and didn't seem too Happy. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad morning or what but she was very mean and un-helpful. It's not that hard to just help a customer, it is your JOB, but this woman clearly didn't want to. I really hope managment sees this because from now on, I will be getting my gas elsewhere, not here. Thank you.

It would just make sense for the service and staff to match what you'd expect from a store like Forest Hills Foods or the Ada Market. I would consistently shop here more if I was always greeted wherever I walked into the store and it felt like home.

So many complaints spots but not positive feedback! Moving on to Ally wow what a wonder customer service attendant. Being in customer service for 30 years and in management I was so impressed. She performed her job well with no complaint! Most importantly she welcomed me coming in the door smiled and assisted me in finding what I came in for. It's so important to make people feel welcomed especially since she was the first person I seen after waking and leaving my hotel. She assured I had everything I needed and because of her I didn't need to stop anywhere else on my trip home. I did let Ms Ally know how very greatful and how appreciative I was to feel so important at a gas station. She is an example of what customer service should represent. They have a good selection of hot food, which I was surprised by (even though maybe I shouldn't have been) since it was in a small town (but I am now realizing most small town spots would have hot food from personal travels). Lots of drinks, both alcoholic and not. Multiple aisles were filled to the brim with bagged snacks and the single stall bathroom (for men and women) was clean. Cashiers were friendly and made Nuvu a positive choice for the future when traveling.

One discussion with the stores sommelier on my night, and he was able to pick out the absolute best wine to accompany my Italian dinner. The beer selection is also superb with knowledgeable staff and a wide variety of wine and beer this store is a must go to if you have questions or are looking for some ideas on what to drink this store is a must. We made a quick stop in today for some necessities. The place was BUSY today. Sure, it's a weekend,…read moreso it's to be expected, but it was difficult to even get through the produce section. Luckily the crowd dwindled by the time we made it to the checkout making it a snap. A couple notes if you've never been here: - This is one of the largest and most well stocked asian grocery stores in West Michigan. I'm not saying it has everything, but it has lots of things. I try to come at least twice a year for general supplies. - Prices are fantastic. They make it worth the trip, especially if you have a bit of a drive like me. From the outside it always looks dirty and run down, what I imagine is the cost of keeping costs low in a high traffic, urban shopping area. But, once you're inside, the stock is always orderly and I've never had an issue with quality. In fact, I prefer the quality most of the time and try to stop by if I'm in the area to make it more often than a biannual trip.
