Service was good and our meals were excellent. The old building had obviously had some work and was very clean and pleasant. After our meal we noticed the Lady running all over the restaurant checking on each table and directing wait staff. The staff are these sweet local ladies who have such a quaint little restaurant mostly catering to the tourist and locals. Menu seemed pretty traditional and straight forward. We ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with soup combo as well as bangers and mash. My bf liked his simple yet filling sandwich and soup combo. There wasn't anything amazing about the sandwich, but the carrot soup was quite tasty. I got the bangers and mash and loved it. It's probably my favorite Irish staple meal, and it was just what I was expecting. Delicious and just good for your soul kinda food.

My wife ordered a two course meal and I ordered a three course meal because the third course, dessert, we felt would be best shared. The soup of the day was tomato basil which I had and it was outstanding. I have the prime rib for the main course and it was cooked to perfection and, of course, served with some potatoes. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream and it was also very good. Well worth the cost. I highly recommend it.
