Their cloth diapering workshop is great (and free) and they try to provide an unbiased look at what's available on the market (trying to look things up yourself online can be overwhelming and confusing). At this workshop you have a chance to get all your questions answered from how to wash them to pros/cons of the different materials...they really are a wealth of knowledge and have an intimate relationship with companies they carry- constantly providing consumer feedback. they have a promotion where you can try out 10 different products for 30 days to get a feel for what you/baby like. (those who attend the workshop can also get 10% off purchases done online and in person). Other services: They also help you find a carrier - bring your own baby or use their weighted baby (heavier than you think). There is a new baby/parent in person support group nearby. I was impressed by the commitment to re-using, second hand and sustainability. I'm so glad this place is a resource in the area...support local.

You tell them you need shirts, and they want to sell you jeans and nursing bras as well. Then, when you check out, they want a phone number, address, and email as well. I told them NO to my email and got the stink eye like, "why don't you want coupons?" (Hint, they never send real coupons, just "special offers". Not the same thing, just give me a 20% off coupon or something for crying out loud!) Oh, and magazines and donating a dollar to charity - all at checkout! Not to mention, their stuff is cheap and not well made, and is expensive. $20 for a t-shirt? I can get it at Target for cheaper. However, sometimes you need something specific and they have it. so your hands are tied. Overall, I avoid the place like the plague.

They wouldn't take the bassinet because there was a small stain (less than an inch) and they only took one item from the bin. They refused an unused blanket because it wasn't in a bag. I understand they need to have standards but I guarantee, parents in need would be happy to take so many items they reject!
