I looked at Big Lots near me and this location had the item in stock and for Curbside pickup. However, I ended up having to go inside, because the next day I caught another/better deal that was worth obtaining. I was a day late for picking up the item, but don't judge me...Judge Big Lots amazing discounts! Anyways, right when I pulled up to the store I noticed a Big Lots Crew Member helping someone to their car with the biggest smile on their face. I knew at that moment I was going to have a great experience. I walked and was greeted instantly by the cashier (who was helping another customer). Now if anyone knows me--great Customer Service will have me come back to an establishment and spend my hard earned coin (Okay)! So at this point, I asked to be pointed in the direction to Curbside Pickup and was quickly introduced to Twaine who helped me from there. I received my lovely discount, fast service and my item carried to my vehicle. Go & Check out this location....they are well stocked, worth the drive and your time! First lemme just say I love biglots in general…read more This was our first time at this location since moving near by and the store was clean and organized. They even have a frozen food section. They have loads of seasonal items and great stuff for great prices. Sometimes you can even find a deal so good it's a sin NOT to buy. The cashier/manager was very nice and personable and informed us about the buzz club rewards and a coupon if we sign up. we were in a bit of a hurry but will definitely be returnong patrons to this location.

Fortunately, it caught my eye and I walked over. The interior is filled with loads of nice gifts -- rings, earrings, bracelets, socks, and plenty of specialty items. Most are on the more expensive side, but I was able to find a pretty bracelet to gift that was only about $30. They wrapped it up nicely as well. One thing that was slightly bothersome was that I couldn't browse in peace for even a second. The friendly ladies working talked nonstop and followed me around as I browsed. I prefer to look at my own pace, personally, and even said I needed to think about what I wanted to select but they didn't really back off. So keep in mind it's that type of store. While I did not find any that I liked at this mall I did find other items I liked and bought. The mall itself is clean and has plenty of parking outside. The food court is pretty large with a variety of places to choose from. You will find something to eat here, there are a lot of places. There's also a Target which is super convenient! I love malls with Targets, it saves you an extra trip. The prices here felt a little lower than the Bay Area, CA. I went to JC Penny and found some nice things and the cashier lady even helped me get a coupon online to save a little extra cash. All the people I interacted with here were friendly. All the stores were out together and well stocked. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom, I can even say I have a Nordstrom shopping problem. This Nordstrom is very underwhelming. There is not a whole lot of selection for women and I was bummed. I was looking to see if they had some items I saw online and they did not. The store itself was clean and the employees were very nice. I'll be writting a separate review for JC Penny and Nordstrom. This mall is a good place to shop with good stores inside. Nothing too high end, they have Coach but you won't see any of the higher end brands like Louis Vuitton or Gucci here.

The dressing room stalls do not have doors, they only have a curtain and no way to secure it. Which is fine if it's just women. On this last occasion, there were quite a lot of men roaming in and out of the dressing room. One man was standing outside my dressing room stall the entire time I was in there. I felt extremely uncomfortable with some strange man standing on the other side of a flimsy curtain from me while I was undressed. I do not understand why men needed to be in the dressing room - no men's clothes are sold here. If your SO is trying things on then you can stand just outside the door and she can show you things. None of the staff did anything to help me or to tell these men to get the hell out of a women only space. In fact one staff member encouraged a man to enter the dressing room. I was totally floored. I said something as I was checking out and all they said was, I'll bring it up with my manager. I doubt I'll be shopping at this location anymore.

Downsides are the horrible design of the parking lot combined with the facts that there's only one location in Delaware and residents from nearby states often shop here for tax free shopping, and you're competing with Christiana Mall traffic and Fashion Center traffic. There never seems to be a good time to go, and forget about it around the holidays. It's sometimes worth driving to PA to go to the closest out of state location, but we still love everything else about it and keep going.

I am currently visiting a vacation home nearby and stopped by this Costco. Unfortunately, there is a very noticeable difference in both customer behavior and overall courtesy compared with the other locations I have visited. Other than that, the store itself is similar to most Costco locations. I also really appreciate that it has a gas station. For vehicles such as BMWs and Porsches that require premium gas, the savings can really add up, especially when traveling frequently in the area.
