She knew her products (which in scarce in many shops anymore). I purchased one pair and wanted another pair in a different color that they had, but we're out of in my size. She spent at least 30 minutes on the phone tracking down the pair in the exact color I wanted. This was my 1st time in a Gap store. I will most certainly shop at Gap again! But I do like how this location has the men's and children's wear upstairs in the women's wear and accessories downstairs. The downstairs was huge and completely worked for me. I was able to walk in grab what I needed for my son's from upstairs, grab what I needed from downstairs, use my email coupon and get out of there in less than 20 minutes! That's my type of shopping right there!

First off I enjoyed shopping here! There was a huge sale going on. It was October so part of it was getting the Summer stuff out on sale and the Fall stuff was all out too. They had huge discounts going on anywhere from 50 - 60% off. Prices were great here in womens clothing. This Macy's is one of the better stocked and better organized ones I have been to. There was a wide selection of brands and items to choose from. The employees were friendly. I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. I was in here browsing around to see if there was anything I would like for me or my daughter but sadly nothing really stuck out. This place has a clean and organized store with a lot of brands and varieties to choose from. This wuold be a great place to look for a gift for someone or even for yourself. If I am ever in Delaware again I will make it a point to come back here.

I called customer service and they said the item is actually going to be delivered on May 22- ( that's after the bridal shower)! And if I wanted on the 14th I had to paid $15 extra. I asked for a manager and was told none were available but when the call was over I would be transferred to a manager and could leave a message. Needless to say I was never transferred. And the guy could barely speak English!?!? Macys do better!

We were not disappointed with the food there. It was a little loud and a little dark for my taste but the food will not disappoint. I have a separate review for that place. Christiana mall has a lot of great stores! I was on a business trip to Elkton, MD. and needed to buy some sweatpants. While I did not find any that I liked at this mall I did find other items I liked and bought. The mall itself is clean and has plenty of parking outside. The food court is pretty large with a variety of places to choose from. You will find something to eat here, there are a lot of places. There's also a Target which is super convenient! I love malls with Targets, it saves you an extra trip. The prices here felt a little lower than the Bay Area, CA. I went to JC Penny and found some nice things and the cashier lady even helped me get a coupon online to save a little extra cash. All the people I interacted with here were friendly. All the stores were out together and well stocked. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom, I can even say I have a Nordstrom shopping problem. This Nordstrom is very underwhelming. There is not a whole lot of selection for women and I was bummed. I was looking to see if they had some items I saw online and they did not. The store itself was clean and the employees were very nice. I'll be writting a separate review for JC Penny and Nordstrom. This mall is a good place to shop with good stores inside. Nothing too high end, they have Coach but you won't see any of the higher end brands like Louis Vuitton or Gucci here.

The children's place at Christiana mall has the worst customer service and discrimination had a…read moreterrible experience while shopping there .I asked for military discount ,which i knew they offered .The cashier told me the clothes were already on sale ,and i calmly explained that i still qualified for the military discount .She ignored me and said my total was $201.52.While another cashier was assisting me the same cashier who had refused my military discount was asked by an African American lady about the discount and gave it to her without hesitation .When i questioned her about it. she laughed sarcastically .The other cashier offered to recheck my purchase and applied the discount. The cashiers were only friendly to a some people who looked like them. This incident was reported to corporate office but nothing was done .If you are not African American be prepared for ill treatment.
