The class is located inside a dance studio with a different name. Gained so much awareness I actually used what Ifat taught to utilize the positions to make my labor successful. Now that I'm a mom I do mommy & me yoga with Ifat and Zumbini with Laura. It's the perfect combo schedule for me. Baby girl gets to dance and play... then mommy gets to unwind and stretch while gently helping my body heal from pregnancy/birth. I'm so elated I found this place. It's brought me so much peace and acceptance. Even when I was sick and could only sit on the floor during the class The teachers are so perceptive and supportive. They really cater to you physically and emotionally.

It was such a pleasure! In such a vulnerable time when you may not feel entirely like yourself; or how the world can be so loud with "bounce back" culture .... She made me see myself as strong, powerful, resilient! & also soft, beautiful & my children's safest place!!!! If you're ever looking for a doula, birth photographer, or like me a special breastfeeding session she is amazing! It was comfortable, she brought some beautiful energy to my home & in seeing these reminded me how truly remarkable women are ANYWAYS, TAKE ALL THE PICTURES, I promise you will treasure them one day. Forever thankful to people like Martha who use their beautiful work to remind us how cool moms are! 5 stars is not enough, you cannot go wrong with Martha

Not having family close to me, I needed someone by my side I can rely without doubts. When I met Martha for the first time I immediately felt a "click" and decided to go on my journey of labor with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and most important she is caring. I knew I can trust her experience. She always had right words for me to encourage and find peace of mind. During the labor all I wanted is to follow right guidance and not to worry about anything. Martha was perfect -- she knew exactly when was the time for epidural, she kept tracking on how things are going and when it was time to start pushing. She made my labor beautiful and memorable experience. I am very grateful!

Dawn was at the top of my list of doulas to meet. Her bio had everything I was looking for. I…read morereally enjoyed her energy and personality upon meeting her. For me, that's a deal breaker. I enjoyed being near her. My husband and I just knew she was the one! Take the time to meet her and if she is the one, you may just know it! She spoke very openly to us; very tell-it-how-it-is. She is exactly the strong woman energy I felt I needed near me during birth. I was new to the area and had little resources. She was able to point me in directions I never knew to ask. This is invaluable. She knows the area very well and has the experience as a doula that made me feel comfortable. We were planning a HBAC (home birth after cesarean). My 2 1/2 year old daughter would be there also. It was very important that we found the right person to be support for my husband and daughter also. She was the one. My daughter grew very fond of her leading up to birth. She looked forward to our visits. I could be at ease with my daughter's position during birth with her support. Dawna helped us make our plan possible. Leading up to birth, Dawna was a constant resource. I looked forward to our visits and felt like she was my personal cheerleader. I really needed that! She knew I could do it all along. This was my second birth, and unlike my first one, I felt like everything flowed with all my plans and wishes respected. Everyone there was valuable. Dawna just did exactly what needed to be done while I was in "labor land". She gave me the encouragement I needed and took a load off my husbands shoulders. She brought me drinks with a straw without being asked. She was like an amazing birth angel. Her energy is very calm, strong/confident, go with the flow, and on point! I'm obviously very happy and would hire her again. Right after birth, she made sure I was comfortable and fed. My 2 year old couldn't wait to see her again. We all looked forward to her postpartum visit. There's a reason why she is so experienced and adored by her clients.

Specially as we navigated first time parenthood. We just had our second baby (natural delivery) and we're lucky to have Dawna again as part of our birth team, including her doula services. I can only describe her as the whole package: unique, invaluable, knowledgeable, dedicated, intuitive, resourceful, multifaceted, gifted, flexible, encouraging, fun and all around indispensable. My husband describes her as "heavy artillery" as in "call in the very best!" Though I have the greatest husband and my phenomenal sister was supporting us, all of us agree the experience would have been significantly different without Dawna. She truly has a calling which we were lucky to experience in both types of birth settings.

Childbirth is a highly personal and important part of your life. Esther was right there for the family to support this precious journey. She was always available and connected us to others in the community, which was helpful. Fun facts 1. She graduated top of her class at a rigorous pre-medical program in high school 2. She also attend University of Miami on a scholarship 3. She is a mother of 4 very healthy boys 4. She speaks multiple languages 5. She has connections all throughout Miami Dade, which is helpful for a new mom 6. She's not just available before and during birth, she is available AFTER birth as well. 7. She has connections to midwives, physicians, and community leaders 8. She will support you throughout the entire birthing process. This is critical. 9. She is highly communicative - if you message her, you will get a response 10. She has a deep understanding of the human body given her background as a UM grad and high school medical program. She is a sweet and kind person as well. Her work has been featured throughout the country, and she is considered an expert in her field. She mentors other doulas and is a successful business woman, but she will still make you feel like a priority despite her busy schedule. You will never feel like a number. In your most intimate moment of life, you want someone who is there for you. Your child is your most important asset, do not leave it to chance. As I close this, I want to mention that Esther understands breastfeeding. Breastfeeding and pumping takes intention, strategy, and planning. Having a doula who is also a breastfeeding expert is extremely helpful and saves money down the line (no formula if that's your desire). As someone who is extremely discerning about services, I whole heartedly recommend Esther and you won't be disappointed.

Claudia was amazing during my journey. She supported me physically, emotionally and mentally. She…read moremade herself available to me where I was, at home in Broward or at the hospital in Miami. During the prenatal stages, she explained to me what to expect and answered all of my questions. She taught me exercises that help to relieve the pains of pregnancy and labor. While I was in labor she helped me advocate for myself, to express my wishes for the birth, even when the doctors were pushy, for example about the epidural. With her help, I was able to manage the contractions' pains. She was there with me physically applying pressure to ease the labor pains and reminding me to change positions every so often to progress the delivery. This is in contrast to my doctors who passively waited for active labor to begin. They actually remarked with certainty that my baby was not coming until the following day-- but with all the bouncing, walking, and stretching, to their surprise my baby arrived the same day only 45 minutes later! After delivery, Claudia came to visit and check on me and my little one providing guidance through this next chapter. I truly believe my unmedicated delivery was a success thanks to her support. She was an amazing help for this inexperience first time mom. From my husband's perspective: I was quite impressed that Claudia committed to visiting us at our home on several occasions prior to the delivery. From the very first meeting, Claudia clearly expressed that the birth of our daughter was a team effort, and that was ultimately borne out. Claudia provided us with exercises, techniques, and perspectives that allowed me to aid my wife in dismantling stress, alleviating discomfort, and buttressing her self confidence when the pressure of the third trimester and upcoming delivery became acute. You could say that the delivery began long, long before we ever reached the hospital-- and Claudia supported us the whole way through to post-partum in person, over the phone, or via group text. I have to say that as a man, many of the exercises Claudia taught us brought me closer to my wife and yet-unborn daughter than I previously thought possible. It was a rewarding experience I look upon fondly. I highly recommend Claudia as a doula for all of the above and more. Of course she did the things that one may expect from a doula, such as demystifying all the things that come up during delivery, or passing along exercises and techniques that honestly should be part of every prenatal education course, or simply being supportively present with warmth and professionalism, but there are certain intangible benefits to having a wealth of knowledge and experience available to facilitate what is, at once, the most humbling, beautiful, and terrifying moment of one's life. I believe my wife and my daughter are better off because of Claudia and I am so appreciative of all that she did for us.
