Ordering was even worse. We ordered starters first and politely asked for a few minutes before choosing the mains. When he came back, he was already stressed and abrupt. As soon as we started ordering the mains, he walked away mid-order to serve another table. We waited 5-10 minutes, then calmly called him back. He returned, acting annoyed, as if we were rushing or bothering him, which was absolutely not the case. At that point, his attitude became openly hostile. He was dismissive, impatient, and rude to the point that we felt uncomfortable staying. We decided to pay and leave without even ordering the mains. No apology. No professionalism. Nothing. On top of all this, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. Not "slightly chilly". Cold enough to make the experience even more unpleasant. This was some of the worst service I've experienced in years. A rude, stressed owner who clearly should not be dealing with customers. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome.
