It seems like there are always new faces and it can be challenging to find parking if you are late to mass but that's just simply because there are so many attendees! The mass starts with worship and then there is a message from the pastor, similar to a catholic homily. The leaders are warm and friendly. Very large building & they do have weddings here! I was a bridesmaid for one in the main worship area (not pictured) last summer. There is another campus in East Windsor but note that it is a bit smaller and the services are live streamed from this location to that one!

I've never been to a weekday mass but I was investigating this morning and it was one of the few in…read morethe area that was in the middle of the day! Mass started about 2 mins late at 12:07 and finished at 12:30. There is no music and it is composed mostly of readings and a homily but I'm grateful to have come today and will absolutely be back. There is an abundance of metered street parking and I couldn't find more than a single quarter in my bag but I was lucky enough to avoid a ticket! The church is gorgeous and there is an abundance of stained glass windows (not pictured). There was only about it 10 or so people in attendance and the priest greeted every one of them by name for communion. I appreciated this touch. Will absolutely come back!

The words that the priest spoke were like the words of God. I was blessed. Jesus is wonderful. I will definitely be returning once they cure the Corona Virus. I didn't even know that alcohol could do such horrible things to the human body. Those Mexicans. It was probably their doing. This is why we should have a wall on the border. #Trump2020.

No booklets and pamphlets were out today, just the QR codes on the back of the pews. I'll assume they still have those to distribute for older parishioners who might not have or want to use an electronic device. The kneelers are very heavy to move. Since I'm sure the cathedral gets many guests, I'd like to see a few more directional signs - as many of us entered for the wedding, I frequently heard, " Where do I enter?" or "Am I supposed to take the elevator?" But once you get past those things, you'll enjoy the experience.

As a modern cathedral, this one in Hartford is absolutely stunning and is as magnificent as any of the above. I arrived on a weekday and was already impressed by the imposing exterior. Surprisingly, the doors were unlocked and the cathedral is open. Masks are still required in late May. There was no one in the central nave or at the altar. The structure was empty and very quiet. It made for some lovely pictures and afterwards, I took a seat and had a moment of reflection. There is free parking outside and as I mentioned, the building is open.
