You're probably thinking all gas stations are basically the same but they're definitely not and…read morehere's why: * They have a liquor department where you can find all of the basics and specialty items. * They have a walk in beer cooler with a huge variety of domestic and microbrews. * The stand still car wash does a great job - better than some of the conveyor belt styles I've been to locally and have free vacuums. * The ladies who work here are super personable and friendly. * You won't get harassed for money trying to get gas or walking in the store. I go out of my way to frequent this location and think it's way better than QT.

So stopping and getting my morning cup of joe, is now a morning ritual on work days. Also, who doesn't like a Krispy Kreme donut, they're delivered fresh everyday and are displayed right next to the coffee. I'm glad to see they kept the beer cave offering a large selection of craft beers. They also kept a decent variety of liquors and wine. Along with the other everyday groceries they offer, this On The Run is a good convenience store. Also, sometimes I forget to plan a head and need to grab a quick and easy lunch from their prepared foods. They offer a variety of salads and deli sandwiches. They also offer a variety of small containers of fresh raw veggies or fresh fruits - so I can make the gas station lunch healthy. Being an independent owner does not keep them from being competitive in their pricing. Their pricing is the same as the mass chains down the road. Attendents are friendly and chatty, giving it that true mom & pop feel. Whenever I can, I fill my tank up here. Because, shopping local isn't just about retail it is about services too.

I also thought it was nice that she left a dry runway for me to get to the register to check out instead of trapping me in with a wet floor. A lot of places I would go would ask me to move or actually bump my foot to move me, or go around but drench the floor so people could potentially slip. That is actually the whole reason I just downloaded Yelp I'm tired of people mistreating people and rude people getting away with so much, because know one will say anything.
