Parking here is very limited not too little but not a lot either so make sure to park early. Honestly for the most part it was somewhat clean I'm just picky when it comes to the toilet. Wow! I can't get used to the higher gas prices in this area, but they get even higher just east of here. This is one of the most friendly Love's I've ever visited. One lady greeted me with a smile, "Hi, Welcome to Love's!" And, another lady said, "Bye, Have a nice day!" We got gas here, and used the restrooms. Love's always has the better restrooms when traveling, and I'm sure their rating buttons help with that. Overall, this is a great stop. read more

Kat was very nice as was the two gentlemen running the register. The bathrooms were very clean as usual and the roller foods were well stocked. Meghan, who I'm assuming is the lead manager, is taking her frustrations out on the phone, staff and customers. Blaming me for her register for freezing up is not cool. "Thats because you didn't hold your card for 5 seconds my whole computer needs to be rebooted." I travel 60,000 miles a year cross country all over. I hold it there until it there until I see "authorizing". This time it didn't stop saying authorizing after i removed it and it froze. She was still on the phone with tech support when the other cashier had an issue and she said, "that's because you... " Fixed his problem then said on the phone, I have a veiling leaking all over the store, computer issues and pump number 7 keeps flashing 551 error. " I moved to the other register when the one i was at was still frozen and it worked fine, no freezing. Hmmm....I serially do not think it was me not holding my card long enough that is causing the computer to freeze up. Meghan, you need to learn how to stop barking at people and let mistakes happen. Instead maybe say, "Well get it fixed. I know a lot is happening at the store now and we are stressed, but we'll get it all fixed. " Apologizing to a customer for computer glitches no matter what the cause, goes farther than barking it was their fault. read more

If you are checking in behind me, then I congratulate you. You made it through a lot of traffic and fought your way from not falling asleep behind the wheel. For a reward we are going to let you pull into this nice gas station just to overcharge you on gas. Don't fret, we also overpriced snacks too! There are 99 cent drinks but did you know we got taxes? Pfft yup. Overall, they did a terrible job scrapping the parking lot and at the pumps it's slippery so try to stand in one stop if you can. Hand sanitizers are all over the place and they offer really clean bathrooms! read more

compared to what used to be my favorite down at Hamel Illinois on Interstate 55 north of St Louis..they've kind of flip flop now hamels gone downhill and I'm not afraid to say it the New Baden has stepped up and gotten better. you walk in your greeted you walk into a clean can and you can't beat that definitely maintained a whole lot more there's better staff going on here they've got some good employees it's like any other Love's it's got a Hardee's inside and they got beer and pretty much all the other things you would find at a Loves. Like The Jeffersons they moving on up. over here though they've got bean to cup machine now. still only a select few of loves have that.. woohoo finally got a piece of the pie.. talk to a couple of the newer employees that were doing something else before they came over here and customer service you could definitely see from the experience I had although it's franchise by in the Hardee's staff by love this is become , very cleaner facility I have definitely noticed it. fuel islands were nice and clean and presentable everything was good keep up the good work.. they also have the 24 hour video poker like pretty much every place in Illinois and along with your standard other loves Services there as of now they still have a for big trucks be 24-hour on-call shop tire service at night regular mechanics during the day..something camel used to have until they fell by the wayside over the last few months in my opinion. love the reason I always like this too is a train geek the Norfolk Southern main line rolls right on directly behind I had some pictures on Google I'll try to put them up here too read more

This is a nice stop. Super clean restrooms. The staff is super nice. There is plenty of space for an RV or camper pulling in for fuel and getting in and out without any problems. They honored the 2 for $2.00 water. No problems. read more

Within 10 minutes she had an officer arrive to unlock my car with my precious fur babies inside. She was SO immensely helpful and the biggest life savor ever! read more

Very clean, smelling like a clean shower. It's even has hands sanitizer in the bathrooms. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Fast food was better than expected: hot and fresh. I made it as my favorite gas stop on my App. Thank you all personnel for making our travel easy. read more

Nice brand new Love's Truck Stop right off the eastbound side of I-64. Easy access for both cars and trucks. Bigger Loves property and spacious inside the store. Tire repair shop on sight. Nice employees greeted us as we walked in and out. Hardee's inside with typical fountain hot goods area. Big clean restrooms with a separate family/changing restroom. read more

Wouldn't honor sale price posted. Water advertised at 2 for $2. At check out charged full price - $3.76. Buyer beware.

Clean restrooms (usually). Just don't get too overly excited over their posted specials. On three separate occasions I was charged full price instead of the sale price. You know, buy one candy bar at regular price and get a second one for a penny. Apparently, as I was informed, the computer sometimes doesn't update the sale price immediately. On another occasion I purchased a nice led flashlight from their clearance table and once again I was being charged full price. Buyer beware. read more

I stopped for fuel on Oct 11 2017 at Noon 12PM parked close to the store facing the store, and there were many people present. We were in a RV and my wife suggested that we eat prior to traveling further. A middle aged man approached us and represented himself as the manager and stated that a trucker had just hit a jackpot in Loves Travel Stop and was giving everyone a $50.00 bill for lunch, and since he was the manager he knew this was legit. I exited my vehicle and was robbed at 12:30 PM in the middle of their parking lot. I was assaulted although not hurt all of my money was stolen, I chased the individuals into the Loves Travel Center asked the cashiers if they didn't have security as i had just been robbed and was informed that yes they did have but he was on the lawnmower mowing. They did call the police reviewed the video and I identified 5 of the eight criminals. Store Manager was not the individual that was involved, but I wanted to make sure the police received the video of the criminals so i called Loves Customer service 3 times and was transferred repeatedly and then hung up on. Sent 2 emails and have still not heard one word from Loves, not even a "Are you alright". Not saying that Loves is involved but they sure aren't part of the solution. Only cash registers and aisle ways are filmed nothing in the parking lot for our safety not even the pumps are video recorded. So beware for sure your life could be in danger and i promise you will have no concern from Loves Travel Stops. By the way Store Manager and Police were very nice, but Loves could care less for you or your safety read more
