We had a truck under contract, and they were in contact with our bank. They sold the truck to someone else. Our loan was approved. Motor max had even sent a copy of the title to our bank. We called to pick up the truck, and they sold the truck. This is actually unbelievable. Bad business. I even thought maybe there was a confusion bc we had it done Saturday. Crazy. They should have a rating of ZERO. A rating of 1 is too good for them. I brought a 2018 Xfinity QX60 and salesperson was a little suspect but ignored it since my son really like the car and it was very well taken care of as far as the interior and a few minor scratches on the outside. When we decided on purchasing the vehicle our salesperson took the car to get the emissions done and we waited until it passed before signing the paperwork. It passed and we signed on the dotted line. Drove the car home about 40 minutes away and to our surprise the engine light came on. Called back to the dealership and they said they can have it towed back to them or we can bring it back. I took the car back and they kept it for 2 days saying it was the battery and starter. They replaced both got the car back and 2 days later the engine light comes back on. This time they want me to take it to their mechanic but will not pay for repairs. Oh, did I mention the warranty we purchased during the deal process. Will get back to that topic in a minute. Called and asked to speak to the GM and talked to him, who then proceeds to tell me he will get back to me after talking to the finance manager to see what type of warranty and agreement we had. They were supposed to take care of any repairs within 30 days of purchase. To this day I have not heard back from the general manager. I have since taken the vehicle to a certified ASE mechanic who has ran a diagnostic on the vehicle and all kind of codes has come back and one in particular, emissions failed. So, you sold me a vehicle that you told me passed the emissions test and provide me the paperwork as well as had the information sent to the State of Georgia. No let's get back to the so-called warranty. Called the warranty company and they take my report to start the claim process and tell me to have the certified mechanic to contact them. When the mechanic calls the warranty company, they tell him that our warranty does not cover those repairs, and we have a basic warranty. My paperwork states that we have the Ultra Warranty. I say all this to say DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, RUN THEY ARE SCAMMERS. read more

Went and bought a car ( honda accord 17) august 5th. Worst mistake of my life. When i drove it everything seemed fine. A week later out of the blue. 4 lights popped up. Its runs like These people mask all the issues at the time of purchase. And when you actually pay for everything and drive it off there lot issue arises. They push this awful warranty because they know there cars are trash. They take no accountability for anything. I took my car to an actual honda dealership and they inspect and appraise my car because they are interested in buying it. They tell me " how the hell did this car pass inspection, this would've never left my lot. You have 4 bald tires. And your breaks are on its last legs." I didnt ask for any inspection. I was there to get a a key fob because motor max gave me a faulty key. They tell me i have Grounds to sue and im strongly considering it. Anyone thats goes to this establishment please thoroughly check everything. These people will smile in your face to get the sale. And wont help with any issues after they take your $$$$$ read more

Do not recommend this place. My son and his grandmother bought a 2017 GMC Sierra from them. The day after my son drove it off the lot, he noticed the steering wheel shifted and the truck had a hard pull. I had him bring it to my shop and put it on the alignment rack and noticed it immediately. In less than 500 miles, the ball joint was falling out of the upper control arm. They refused to fix it. We live north of Athens and the salesman said he could have save us a few hundred bucks if we had brought it back to them. What a joke. How does it make sense to tow a truck 2 hours to save "a few hundred bucks". If this had happened while my son was driving, they would not want to see me. Maybe they should not try to do repairs as cheap as possible. If they had properly pressed in the ball joint, it wouldn't have come out. You can look at it and tell it wasn't done properly. You can tell the ball joint on the side is brand new. I have worked in the automotive industry for 15+years and currently run a shop. This is not how you do business. The salesman would not respond to text or calls after I explained that I knew what I was talking about and they were at fault. That kinda shows your guilt there buddy...Then he tried to tell me the ball joint came out because it was a lifted truck...ok dude...why don't you keep eating and selling cars because you obviously don't know what you're talking about when it comes to repairs. If the safety of your family members is important to you, I would not trust these people. We have already had to replaced several things on this truck that we not repaired properly. They buy these things at auction and band-aid them just enough to get them off the lot and then refuse to fix what they didn't do right. read more

If I could give this zero stars I definitely would. I called as soon as they opened, made an appointment to come in, did the online application. Told them how much I was putting down on the car and kept in touch all the way until I was 5 mins from the lot. My drive was a hour away. I was then told upon reaching the dealership the car was already been claimed and it's unavailable. Frustrated and disappointed is an understatement.. I just sat in the car fuming... customer service agents didn't give any care that's just what happens and then have the audacity to say still come in and look for a different car that's nowhere in the ball park as the car I was about to purchase. If you want to feel like you aren't sh** use this dealership... I haven't wrote a review in my 28 years of living .. if that doesn't tell you something .. it should read more

I had to drive 3 hours to get there. The salesman Bailey promised me he would CALL if anything started working on the car but failed to do so!!!!! He did send me an email that stated he was trying to call me. When I got to the dealership he stated that he had called texted and emailed 3 times but never left a voicemail and I didn't receive any of the texts either!!! This dealership maybe ok but I wouldn't deal Bailey because he is a Liar!!!! read more

Absolute scammers. we bought a used car from them which they said was perfect and had nothing wrong with it. we obviously didn't totally believe that so we got it inspected by someone THEY recommended and the inspection came back "perfect". we bought the car and we drove it 5 minutes and then the car started shaking, the check engine light turned on and it started smoking so we opened the hood and the radiator blew out. they 100% knew that the spark plugs were misfiring and they 100% knew about the radiator leak because we look back at the pictures we took before we bought it and it was leaking onto the ground in the pictures, even though they said everything was perfect. After this happened we wrote honest reviews on google and they called and told us we needed to take down our reviews or they would not be helping us with the car. very scummy people who's business needs to be shut down. Every single bad review is almost exactly the same, they sell awful cars and fix them up just enough to get it off of the lot knowing they are not good quality and knowing there are very serious issues wrong with them. please do not buy from them. read more

This used to be a professional establishment when I brought a car from them 5 years ago. The sales team is great but the finance team is much to be desired. Told me my credit score was inadequate and I know I have decent credit. Took my business to a regular car dealership and both the dealer and my credit union rsn my credit and gave me a loan at a rate 12% less than what MotorMax offered, a newer year model and less down. Either there is something wrong with their lenders scoring model or they try to lock you into a higher rate deliberately. read more

Had an appointment for a truck. Showed up 2 hours early and they had a guy in financing for the truck and didn't bother to call and tell me anything. Sat there for 3 hours waiting on this kid to jump through hoops for financing which they prioritized over me bc I had cash which means less long-term money. They're very typical so don't expect them to be any different from the rest. read more
