Worst mvd in Arizona the staff is incompetent. I was filling for a title for a vehicle that hadn't been registered in 50 years I had the Sierra Vista Police Department fill out the paperwork that MVD gave me they said they couldn't read it . I took it to Gingers and a title in 5 days. They need to fire the entire staff at the MVD read more

I called this office to see what was needed to get my wife an AZ drivers license. I was told all she needed was her current license and two bills showing her address in AZ. When she got there she was asked for her social security card as well as the other items. Not sure why she asked for the card as it is not a requirement per the website or my conversation with one of the workers... this place is THE WORST. read more

I waited 2 hours to renew my registration. The line was long enough to reach the entrance door. They have 4 windows but only two agents were available to help. I saw people in the back chatting and you would think they would come out to help. Pay the extra $20 bucks at Ginger's (third party DMV) and be done in minutes. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. The employees here were the worst I've ever dealt with in any of the 5 states I've lived in. I came in with all my original documents and the employee at the front desk told me I had to go and get my Birth certificate even though my DD214 was adequate. Upon returning she told my wife and I that indeed, the DD214 was sufficient. I then took a number and waited a half hour and when my number was next, she approached the teller, whispered in her ear, then walked away. Needless to say the intentionally skipped my number and when I confronted her about it she gave me a new number and said I'd have to get at the back of the line. WOW. just. wow. So after wasting half a day, I'm going to Tucson on my next day off. read more

One Homophonic emplyee is too many. My husband made an apointment to get Both of our cars titled. When we checked in the employee refused to serve both of us as a gay married couple, so I had to wait in line with the walk-ins. When it was my turn, I asked "Do I have to make a different appoint for both of us if we are legally married(GAY)?" The NICE emplyee said: "You are allowed two transactions per visit and you and your husband can make one appoint for these transaction". So if you get a employee who refuses to excect your marrage as being REAL than tell them it is not their place to decide. Gay marrage is legal! Grow up and GET OVER IT! read more

Like any other DMV I've ever experienced, this place is painful to endure. Expect to hunker down for a good chunk of time here. There is another place called Ginger's off Fry that provides some of the same basic services if you're willing to pay a little extra for not having to wait in line. read more

I worked for the department of motor vehicles for 10 years in Norcross, Ga which is next to Atlanta. We are the largest department in the state of Georgia. I worked many over time shifts to reduce the number of customers at our office. We handled between 700 to 900 customers on a daily basis and at the end of the day everyone who worked were exhausted going home. To come to Sierra Vista Arizona and see a friendly, professionally runned office was like leaving my church with a smile on my face.
