I purchased2 boxes of HONEYNUT Cheerios over a month ago. I went to open the package and red the…read moreingredients in the cereal. It said it had bioengineered ingredients inside. I didn't have the receipt but I went to return the boxes that I paid $1.99 for and they wouldn't refund me because it was over a month and price plus information doesn't stay online that long . Now I could have told the clerk I paid $4.00 plus but I was honest . I have never had an issue retuning something without proof. The only reason for returning it is because the product was BIOENGINEERED. I don't want BIOENGINEERED FOOD. Read the labels because a lot of products have BIOENGINEERING IN THEM ! Second ShopRite is getting greedy with p price plus and limiting some quantities to 1 item instead of 4 per variety. I went to buy Panera Soup $2.99 is not a big deal if they are only giving you 1$ off but they limit you to 1 container . ShopRite, you want to play the game w your customers? Bring it! Your having your CAN CAN SALE AND LIMITING ITEMS TO A QUANTITY OF ONE? Shame on you! I never thought to ask to speak to a MANAGER !

I'm here on November 22, 2025 for the birthday of my wife and my dog…read more For context - we live in West New York, New Jersey, which is only approximately 25 to 30 minutes away from going into Manhattan such as Midtown area. Therefore, within a 10 mile distance radius around where I live, there are at least three ShopRite, two Walmarts, including a supercenter, and 3 to 4 Audi's I save this context because when it comes to these three pillars - 1. Inventory 2. Structure & layout 3. Ambience I'm not sure why it's 2.8 stars. Maybe because people here are usually tourist and have a lot of expectations. But we already know the prices for ShopRite. Those three pillars above, especially when it comes to inventory and store layout - this is by far the best ShopRite I've ever been in. It felt like a shopping experience in terms of clarity of where items are as well as plenty of good ambience and lighting to guide me, not to mention people, bumping left and right with you - that doesn't happen here : these are the reasons why I give this five out of five stars. Will always be visiting here whenever my significant other and I plan to visit for our touristy and vacation trips. For those of those who are heading here from, let's say the city - highly recommend this place to cover all your eating, cooking, and etc needs if you don't plan on eating at a restaurant.

I love trying new things and love that most staff know their departments and aren't hesitant to share opinions when asked and sometimes even when they aren't. It reminds me of old school service, and I haven't been steered wrong by their input yet. When this location first opened, I constantly had issues checking out at the front registers. For example, a deal might be advert but not reflected on my receipt, or I could buy three lemons and be charged for four mangos and issues like that. So, I am diligent about checking my receipts, but I haven't caught any issues like that in the longest time. I love that if I come in for items in one of their specialty areas, I can just check out right there and skip the front registers all together. I think this is why I do more impulse buys here than other supermarkets. The prices are high, but I've heard staff say they are treated well. Because of that, I don't mind paying extra. I actually hope the store expands so I can avoid shopping at stores without that reputation. I might avoid this location's gift shop, though.

This is a small but mighty neighborhood gem whose combination of coffee, food, and wares really…read moreembodies the spirit of a general store. We stopped in for breakfast and had a blast exploring the holiday-themed sundries around the store (we ended up buying an ornament and a gorgeous sweater. Where else could you buy such things with breakfast?!). I don't know who's in charge of stocking the store but judging from how well curated these goods were, it's clear they know what they're doing. There were lots of local goods, like beers, wines, and maple syrups, and then some fineries like the Momofuku sauce line, luxury bath goods, and Anthropologie clothes. For a small shop, the menu was also unexpectedly robust. Along with your usual lineup of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and wraps, there were a few unusual ones that piqued our interest. The whole hot dog menu, for instance, makes for a fun and curious read. Want to try the Canadog? It comes with maple syrup, peanut butter, and bacon. Or how about the L.A. Japadog, with teriyaki sauce, nori, and mayo? We weren't brave enough to try, but I'm left haunted by what could have been. Our own sandwich choices were fantastic. Everything is made to order, so it took a few minutes, but we certainly weren't short of things to see while waiting. There are two small two-seating tables in the shop, and we were lucky enough to snag the table with the giant bevy of hot sauces (see picture). The people behind the counter are kind, friendly, and warm. There was a steady stream of customers during our visit, and it seemed like many of them were neighborhood folks coming in for their breakfast and snacks to go. All the interactions we overheard gave off small-town, Gilmore Girls vibes, and we were glad to be part of it for a short while. This is a fantastic little shop-and-cafe combo, definitely worth dropping in if you're in the area.
