Connie spent the time necessary with my wife/designer to understand the color scheme and help select a couple remnants that might work. Other shops were only interested in selling a much larger minimum quantity. There is a good reason for that of course, because once the shop cuts a piece they are stuck with the left over. The difference Mark and Connie made was willingness to take the time for a smaller order and cull through their remnents. We were lucky in that there was a really great peice available. It wasn't what we started looking for but that is where the time Connie put in to understand the color scheme paid off; the piece available works perfectly with the natural custom ash cabinets and the tile we selected. Mark and Connie communicated all throught the process. Of course everyone wants to be first in line. Mark and Connie kept to all of their appointments and didn't slip any dates. At the end, the install went without a hitch, and the vanity top came out fantastic. Not only are Mark and Connie a delight to interact and work with, we feel like we got top notch service and an excellant value. I spoke to half a dozen different HVAC providers and had 3 of them come to her home to do an estimate. Of all of them, Mike Greives of Dead River was the only one who took the time to explain the pros and cons of oil vs propane and what was the best solution for this home and her situation. Also, the price quoted from Dead River was the cheapest of all of the quotes I got. Not by a lot but it was the best price quoted of the three. When the time came for scheduling the service they worked with us to book the chimney person, the junk hauler, and took care of all of the details (which a few other companies told me I would have to arrange for!). They also accommodated our schedule since the work was done in the summer and was not an emergency call. On the days of installation, I have to shout out the professional work and wonderful attitude of Dale, Joe, and Dustin. They explained all of the details and left the space cleaner than it started! Even better because 3 people were sent they completed the install in 2 days instead of 3. I am so happy that I chose Dead River and believe you should consider them for a large project like the boiler replacement we had!
