I called to schedule a first pregnancy appointment with Dr. Okamura…read more The office staff informed me that she likes to review new patient requests herself, and decide based on her schedule and patient information whether to take on the patient. They sent her an email with my information, and told me to expect a response the next day. I never received a response. I called every day for a week asking for an update, and every day the answer was that she hasn't gotten around to her email yet. Eventually, I called another practice that scheduled me *on the spot* for an 8 week ultrasound the following week, and an 11 week in office visit with an award winning highly regarded doctor.

When I scheduled a appointment, it was postponed to another day without anyone telling me about it. The second time I came for an appointment, but they told me that my visit was not on that day, but on some other day 2 weeks later, although the letter from them indicated the time and date of the day when I came to them and no I never received any other letter.Nobody wants to solve the problem, the staff turns around and leaves. Terrible management. I waited in pain for 2 weeks, but today my appointment was rescheduled again. Managers don't send reminders. How important it is for a woman to solve her pain problem in a short time, and not wait 2 weeks and it's not a fact that you'll see a doctor. They will schedule an appointment for you and you will never know until they call you and tell you that you missed your appointment. Complete mess.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! I was looking for a real experienced Doctor who would be…read moreable to find and heal my issue and I found that here with Dr Neelam Thacker. Dr Thacker is very knowledgeable and absolutely sure of what she's talking about when it comes to the lady parts. She made sure to go through each step to find and fix my problem. Along the way she kept me informed with what she was doing and why. She recommended a few options for care and also gave her suggestions but in the end left it up to me to decide what I wanted to do about my health. This not only made me comfortable but happy that she was allowing me to choose. I am so grateful for and extremely happy I found her. Dr Thacker's staff is extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable, I would specifically like to mention Katie who I love so much, she always makes me feel comfortable and at home when I visit the office! Chris also made the check in and checkout process easy and simple and was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to insurance and payments. The facility itself is very clean and always at the optimal temperature so you remain comfortable even while waiting for your appointment. In closing the flexibility, willingness to work with my schedule and fit me in at the last minute really meant a lot to me while receiving care. Def would recommend this place above all if you're in or around the Boston/Medford area!

She is the person you see at every appointment and is there to deliver your baby till the end! We loved how patient she was and friendly and even talked about her personal experiences . She always checked on the progress even after delivery and suggested few best options for lactation, nursing and took care of every step even before delivering my baby explaining things to deal with ,clearing my doubts all the time. Her staff is very friendly and helpful and she is available on call/text for emergency questions and any help. If you are looking for an OB and want someone who is there from beginning to the end of your journey, she is it! Delivered my baby with peace of mind and was lucky to have her as my OB.

I am currently seeing Dr. Hardiman as baby girl was breech and was told by several providers…read more(midwives and webster method practicing chiropractors) that she was simply the best. She IS! From the moment I met with her I was blown away by her down-to-earth nature, empathy and extensive knowledge of what I was hoping for in my pregnancy and labor. It was the warm embrace I had felt at birth centers and more natural practices. I saw her for my ECV and both my husband and I were blown away by how she approached the whole situation with such care, patience, expertise, and true grace. The entire, full turn lasted under 60 seconds and wasn't anything like what I had read of other experiences. (I recognize that this is due to many factors but I credit so much of it to her extensive experience.) I noticed the reviews on here talking about how busy she is. There is NO AIR of exclusivity as another person commenter. She was late for our appointment because she was in surgery - this is something she cannot plan and needs to prioritize and based on this experience know that she will prioritize my health if she is in surgery. She can take all the time she needs if a patient is in greater need - it is worth it. She IS busy and personally cares for as many of her patients as she's able - she performs all types of labors from c-sections to natural vaginal to induced to breech vaginal (which is why we are there). She doesn't take on new patients on at times because she doesn't have the bandwidth and we can all appreciate that. This was very clearly explained to me upon calling and wanting to switch at 37 weeks. When you go into the labor - she will be there. She's a superhero, breath of fresh air when it comes to my hospital experiences, and absolutely incredibly health provider. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in her care and that she is here in Boston/Cambridge.

She was SO judgemental and arrogant and it really turned the situation sour for me. Even networking with the anesthesiologist while performing the C section as if I was invisible and not even there. So unprofessional , I can't even believe it happened. After the birth, nurses on the maternity floor came in and shared information that was private with me that Dr Hardiman had absolutely no medical reason to share. I did complain to social service nurse but probably should have followed up with HIPPA filing. With infant there's too much going on, so never did, but I regret having to experience baby's birth with her. I
