Our son has grown so much thanks to MHC. He has really developed as a player and as a person. He has met players from all across the world (and country) and we see them at tournaments occasionally... so nice to see the kids meeting and making new friendships! They have not only great hockey instruction but they also help the kids understand the importance of doing their best in everything they do. (I love that they not only offer ice time but classroom discussion about teams and leadership!) Great family environment, with great coaches and caring owners! Would definitely recommend! Thanks MHC! We WILL see you guys again! As a great side note some of the counselors and coaches have even kept in touch with us to follow his hockey year. My dad talks about the Hutterites and their store by Hawley, MN. Luckily he was driving otherwise I…read moreprobably wouldn't have found this colony. The Hutterites are basically amish people with electricity, farming technology, and money. They believe everyone earns the same in their colony and they live in dorms or community living. The cashier at the store was so Anglo Saxon albino white but was real nice when I asked him questions about their living arrangements and beliefs. They are a group that shares all meals in common area of dorm and each family has their own space. They just aren't into social media or internet. They had a computer scanner at the store and took credit cards. The farming operation was extensive with nice steel barns and silos. Looked very top notch. The store was small and very clean.
