Now my other brother (he never ever complains about anything) looks so in pain and uncomfortable. We were not sure what was going on and his breathing was off. Unfortunately This BANNER CHURCHILL EMERGENCY ROOM says they can't do anything, that he needs to see a Primary Care Doctor???!!!!?? That is why we went to the emergency room & because he was having respiratory issues! There was NO tests done, NO CT scans, nothing! This is ridiculous.

Be extremely careful before trusting this hospital with your care or your money. Just because this hospital seems affordable, be warned -- they'll hit you with hidden charges and endless billing runarounds. I was quoted about $10,500 for childbirth and paid $6,500 upfront based on that estimate. After my baby was born, I was shocked to receive a bill for just over $10,500 with no sign of my $6,500 payment anywhere. I called billing and was told to wait for my payment to be applied. Weeks later, only $2,700 of my $6,500 showed up, and the rest vanished without explanation. Every monthly statement since has shown $2700 as if the $3800 disappeared into thin air. I've called multiple times and received completely different answers each time. One person said the total was correct because of insurance payments (even though the statements already show those adjustments). Another said the real total was $22,000 and insurance barely paid anything -- which doesn't match the itemized bills showing only about $1,000 from insurance. Then I asked specifically where the $6500 went and they gave me amounts that didn't add up to $6500 and also listed adjustments that the insurance paid which is not what I asked. YOU WILL NEVER GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER OUT OF THEM. No one can explain where my $6,500 went or why they still claim I owe another $5,700. Their own math doesn't add up, and they've been unwilling or unable to give a clear breakdown. I have all the documents and invoices that THEY provided. Either they are lying, or giving me statements that are not accurate. I will never come back to this hospital again and I will fight them to no end. At this point I don't care about the money, it's about principle.

Departments available at this location - Imaging, outpatient, etc. Ambiance - Good size location. The lobby is actually huge. The gift shop was closed and my wife was sad. Sage Cafe was NOT busy at all. Plenty of parking. Open 7 days a week, closed for lunch; see their website. Service - The ladies in the front were okay. It was a Saturday afternoon and they did every test and we're so kind to me. Everybody from the MRI department and the CAT scan department to the emergency room physician were very professional and caring. After I was reading the doctor's summary which was very detailed and easy to understand and he kept referring to me as a pleasant older gentleman. I use it for routine lab work and they have always done an adequate job. Some of the technicians are more skilled than others; from "Wow, did you draw blood already?" to "Ouch, are you sticking a fishing hook in my vein?" The business office has been known to get billing a bit mixed up, so I always review my statements from them very carefully. Walking in to the entry, it has an odd ammonia hospital smell. The registration widow is small and the waiting area is institutional. Probably the best part about it is I can usually get in and get my blood work done within fifteen minutes. I have used the urgent care on a few occasions - sometimes quick, and sometimes it feels like a scene from "No Exit" (Hell is other people). It is a small town medical facilitity that has a small hospital attached. They do OK as long as it isn't too complicated.

The Dr. sold it to me saying the recovery time is faster while she didn't mention as I would be informed by the Anesthesiologist, that some woman have gone blind from this surgery.I didn't do my homework about this Robotic procedure. After 3 days into my recovery my bladder burst open.I went to Renown a trauma hospital which I highly recommend in Reno Nevada. One of the lasers nicked my bladder and I was stitched up. 4 Years later my bladder burst open again. It turned out that a piece of the robot had been left in my body. The O.R. Nurse was blamed for the incident. My message is this: PLEASE KNOW YOUR HOSPITALS,Do your homework regarding your surgery's.Get a second opinion.And choose to be cut open slowly with a scalpel. Anything robotic is insanity!My message to Barton Hospital please only handle sprains and breaks. Please send all patients to Renown or Saint Mary's in Reno. I almost lost my life twice because I foolishly believed the title Dr. The infection caused me cirrhosis of the liver which I recovered from. I also had several teeth that needed implants.
