Mount Greylock Baptist Church is a great place to worship with your family. The leadership does an amazing job of engaging people of all ages. There are age appropriate Sunday school classes, from pre-school age through adults, with service immediately following. During Sunday morning service there is also a Jr. Church going on for children. Sunday evening service and a Wednesday evening prayer meetings also take place each week. Our daughter recently became part of the youth group and has been having a great time. The youth group leaders teach a Sunday school class before service on Sunday mornings and organize many fun activities for the teens. Recently, there was a day trip to The Great Escape that our daughter said was lots of fun. Over the past few months they worked the concession stand at a Steeple Cats game, and had a picnic for the teens and their families. Both co-pastors and their families have been a great support system for my family and others when it has been needed. There is a good balance of preaching the word of God while still being relatable to church members and visitors. read more

I was really excited to visit this church, but was disappointed when it seemed like the co-pastor (Pastor Ethan) was more focused on nationalism instead of the Word of God. Pastor Ethan has the privileged of thinking that everyone who enters his congregation will have the same experience of this country. His message was actually biblically based and he preached from Heb. 11, highlighting the experience of Abrahm being a pilgrim and not fitting in, but giving no grace to those who might enter into the sanctuary experiencing the US as a pilgrim. He also highlighted that Christians should great each other with an embrace and gave a live demonstration of such an embrace with a member of the congregation highlighting that the Body of Christ looks like that diverse embrace. This was an excellent point until I realized that he didn't mean it. Asa first time visitor and one of the last people to leave the church, I found Pastor Ethan standing at the door and though he saw me and I walked past him at less than 3 feet distance he did not speak to me. I guess that whole Christian embrace thing was just for show unless you share his diverse perspective. The worst part of this is that if I was seeking Christ or a church home my experience with Pastor Ethan may have damaged that desire to seek more of Christ. I thank God that I am saved and know the Lord with out this experience. P.S. The two people who sat beside me were kind and the young lady especially displayed the care of Christ. read more

Have been going here for over a year with my entire family and couldn't be more pleased and impressed. Full Sunday school for all ages of children and bible study for adults. Sunday morning service is great and the preaching, music and people are wonderful! read more
