The teachers that our kids had were caring and warm; kids got to do a lot of free play with other children and work on their social skills that way; the program also involved a lot of movement and outdoor time, which is so important to young children. Even in the short few years that we were there, I could see how being at the school made our kids more creative and gave them great social skills. Our kids still miss their old school.

It's not about the teachers even though they make it appear that way - sorry but daycare educators want more vacation time, a better schedule (because you have to work a 9 hour shift with an unpaid paid hour lunch break) and proper raises and bonuses (without having to move up (suck up) to management) if you are a Teacher and just want to do your job - good luck with that! Educators don't want pizza and cupcakes or staff events they want real paid time off, seniority respect, and increased vacation every year of service. When they opened their school they wanted to treat the educators well but REFUSED to look into burnout. Instead they decided to host tons of events (some being on Saturdays) and enroll children without enough staff. They also used to be opened 6:30-630 - kids never left because the tuition is so damn expensive. Kids never went home sick or missed a day because tuition is so expensive. Burnout is real and when you work long hours into the day and get few paid holidays it's really gets to you. Kiss your summer goodbye because the time off is so low that once summer comes you used up all your PTO in the winter cus you got sick or had a few things going on... 5 days that's it! Also if you're there for many years, you get the same time off package as new people. The standards are so high that you can't enjoy the children because your constantly checking off boxes, on the iPad, or dealing with " Primrose fluff" it's very hard for one human to adhere to Primrose standards. Don't even get me into the curriculum (not NAEYC) either. It's not fun if you're a free thinker or free spirit. There's no respect for seniority either. One summer I witnessed 25 staff members leave the company. It's what the owners feel is important, they want you to fit into their little box. Use your judgement if thinking about working here or enrolling your child. If your wealthy Montessori is the way to go/ private nannying/ small church preschools! Less stressed out teachers, more focus on the children for sure. Oh, and you have to wear dress pants and flats (that smell and fall off running after the kids) but at least you "look good" to the parents (Lol) and you have to purchase your own primrose shirts for uniform.

Our son is thriving and learning so much on a daily basis, he absolutely loves his teachers and has lots of fun with his friends. Great staff that genuinely cares about every child. The school is super clean. Everything gets washed and sanitized each day. We love getting detailed daily reports and pictures throughout the day. Prior to enrolling into Primrose we toured every single day care in the neighborhood and none of them really compared to Primrose. Once you walk into the building you just instantly know that the school is very well managed and operated.

B. leaves school well-prepared for kindergarten and very much looking forward to it. Our son has several serious food allergies, and we also greatly appreciated the schools' approach to safety on this matter (it is a nut free school and they are very good about managing allergy issues). I needed a preschool with extended hours to accommodate my work schedule. The best things about this school are the staff, their developmental, child-centered approach and the flexibility in scheduling. Both of my children have very different personalities and both flourished at this preschool.

Their warm and caring nature and the small classroom environment have really brought out the best in our little girl. While Montessori is student-driven, the rules have really taught her a sense of structure and order which has helped in every aspect of life. She has even scolded family members for talking with food in their mouths! :) Her social and emotional growth over this past year has been phenomenal but so has her academic growth. She's now reading simple words and writing and has an impressive grasp on mathematical concepts. She's interested in other languages, cultures and countries and has learned about things in nature. She looks forward to going to school and even asked us to add an extra day to her schedule. When there is a week where she will miss a day of school because of a holiday or a teacher workshop, Miss Savi always offers to let her come on her day off (she currently goes 4 days) so that she's not missing a day, which tells me that she truly cares about her students' education. Sending her to Harmony has been an excellent investment in her development and we couldn't be happier!

The staff is talented and committed. There is a parent participation component, as with all cooperative programs. This is something that drew me to the program. I was amazed my first year how varied people's situations are - one or both parents working outside the home part or full time, nanny's, grandparents and family friends helping out at pick-up and drop-off, as well as moms and dads working as stay-at-home parents. I didn't carpool, but some families arranged carpools. I often swapped child-care of my youngest daughter (when my oldest was in school) on parent-help days and then would watch another family's younger child when it was their turn. I've benefited from the sense of community at the school, and the chance to have a few hours every month or so to be with my child at school. The best part though is the positive experience my children have had at the school, developing social skills and learning through play.

It is a cooperative program, so you have to be open to that aspect. I personally loved helping in the classroom and getting to observe my child interacting with his friends. There are some volunteer components -- one work day a year to help maintain the school and grounds and service on one committee -- but they certainly aren't onerous. It's not for everyone, but so far I've found it very manageable as a working parent. The other parents are very supportive and open to switching schedules. I'm new to town, so I've found it a valuable way to meet other people and find a sense of community. The curriculum is play-based, so the focus is more on developing imagination, healthy social interaction, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing how the curriculum develops as my son progresses.

He was taught structure and discipline and manners while having fun with his friends! The teachers are fabulous and friendly and really have a way of making their lessons fun. All of the children feel included and loved. My daughter went to a public preschool for 1 year and it was a nightmare! She didn't learn much and the teachers couldn't be bothered to engage her. Once I placed her into WOW I saw a huge transformation in a matter of weeks. She thrived. Not placing my daughter in WOW from day one was my stupidity. I was trying to save money and it was a huge regret. You get what you pay for. This place is amazing. They do not have a large turn over because the staff is dedicated and never leave. It's refreshing. My kids often talk about WOW and like to browse through their memory books. Every child graduates every year and it's incredible. The kids feel so special and it's a nice way to acknowledge all of their accomplishments and achievements.
