4,003 foot high. There are several ways to go up there. For me I did as a part of 2-day backpacking trip. 22 miles, +/-6,000 feet.
Highway302 to Mount Crawford via Davis path, then Mount Davis, Mount Isolation, then camp, then come back via Rocky Branch trail.
There is 0.1 mile spur trail from Davis path to Mount Isolation. Good view at the top. In summer there is green scenery. You can see Mt.Washington and surrounding mountains. It is nice to be there for lunch or snack. I would come back in winter again. read more
