Five stars for Mountain Grove! We love meeting friends there after church on Sundays since it's so close to our church in Redlands. It's just the perfect spot to gather because there are so many different food options, so everyone can pick what they're in the mood for. We usually end up at Chipotle or Handel's for ice cream (both so good!), but there's truly something for everyone. The pricing works because you get to choose where you want to eat, which makes it flexible and easy. The ambience is lively and fun. They have a really nice grassy area (it's faux grass, but still super nice), a cute fountain feature, and even a fire pit outside that makes it cozy. In the summertime they sometimes have music, which makes it even more fun to hang out. It's just a great place to walk around, eat good food, and spend time together. Highly recommend checking out Mountain Grove if you haven't already! read more

This was our first time going on Wednesdays for the kids activities in March-April. We love it. Very well organized. Love the different activities they have each week from story time, arts and crafts, dancing etc. The kids have such a blast! It's really nice to have something to look forward to and get out of the house with little kids. read more

I've shopped here several times and didn't realize that the back half is called Mountain Grove and the front half of Citrus Plaza. Nevertheless, I love Mountain Grove equally because of the several stores, restaurants, 24 hr Fitness, Aldi and even the Harkins movie theater. Mountain Grove is a shopping, restaurant, and movie theater cluster. It's the new shopping center located just behind Target in Redlands. I love the shops, but, not all the traffic in the parking lot. Everyone comes here all 7 days of the week so it's pedestrian overload for me. Parking close is difficult. If I could compare it to something relatable, it would be like circling vultures who are ready to swoop in on a fresh kill. I like coming though and just try and breath slowly as I try to find parking. For those of you who might be confused when you arrive here for the first time, Mountain Grove in Redlands is the "flip side" of Citrus Plaza. The two outdoor malls/shopping centers are owned by the same company. It's connected to Citrus Plaza a driving/walking breezeway located towards the middle. Mountain Grove itself is a fun, quirky little outdoor shopping mall with a lot of potential. It has a premium Theatre (Harkins), a "food court" of sorts with many casual to semi-formal dining options as well as retail shops to choose from. Notable shops include: Nordstrom's Rack, Hobby Lobby, Ross, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Sketcher's Outlet store and others. They offer a good variety of items for a variety of budgets. What's kinda neat about Mountain Grove is 1. The whole complex offers free public Wifi that's actually a decent speed, and 2. There's a public area near the food court. This area has various seating, a koi pond/river, and a long fireplace feature. This all makes for fun gathering areas for friends and family. They even hold family concerts here from time to time. Overall I think this is a great idea for Redlands. When the Redlands Mall closed, there was a social/retail vacuum that needed to be filled. Citrus Plaza was one part of the solution, and I think the Mountain Grove side is another. My main two beefs with this place are 1. Parking! Wow.. where to start here. So the parking areas here didn't seem to be well thought out at all. Yes there's a large parking lot in the middle, but the other "over flow" parking areas that surround the location just seem to make things more congested, especially on the weekend when there's a lot more social activities going on. Also, the parking lots need quite a few more handicapped spots. These are few and far between and not very handy at all. 2. Development. The developers of this complex left a large swath of land that borders Alabama Ave. empty and had designated it as "Phase 3 development". Recent development of this area has begun to occur, and the general local consensus is that they will be building luxury apartments/condos in this section. I personally feel this is a bad move. Redlands needs more affordable housing for expansion. Rents/mortgages being what they are already make living in Redlands a challenge except for the wealthy. Everyone knows that any housing built so close to this mall will fetch premium prices and alienate many looking to live here. There are so many things they could use this area for to help grow the economy. A worthy addition to the Redlands area, and located very conveniently where the 210 and 10 freeways come together. read more

Nice new addition to the Citrus Plaza. They have so many new stores, a brand new movie theater that is amazing and some "fast" dining options. The main seating area is great with chairs and even a firepit but I'm missing thee things: 1. More space 2. There is zero sitting restaurants. All the have is pizza, hot dogs, burritos, ice cream, burgers... It would be nice to have an actual restaurant or bar. 3. A playground for kids would had made this a top spot. read more

Mountain grove/citrus plaza is a small shopping center located in Redlands. I actually really love this shopping center and I remember coming here when I was younger and it was just citrus plaza. Now that they have more food options (sushi, burgers, hotdogs, Chicken, Mexican, etc), a movie theater, bath and body works, Buy Buy Baby, lane Bryant, Five Below, and so many others. Overall the Mountain grove add on to the citrus plaza center made it so much further above what it was before. read more

Other than the movie theater, there isn't much for an adult male at this shopping center. I like to sit at the tables, but there are often beggars there asking for money that makes it awkward. Citrus Plaza also has beggars there almost every time. read more

I love the shopping center but WHATS UP WITH THE ZERO WIFI AND ZERO SERVICE ?! It's soooo horrible there should at least be a wifi for the whole area instead of absolutely none at all. Seriously ridiculous. read more

Already tipped off from a friend about disappearing cars in the parking lot over there, I should have listened. Our car was a Honda and my better half went into Ross. I was home. Car was stolen and I was phoned right away so I called Redlands police and got a jump on getting the report in ASAP. When the Mountain Grove security guy showed up prior to the police and I, he gave no options like reviewing the video surveillance or let me call the police for you. After the brief conversation with no help it was disclosed to him that I phoned in the report, police are on the way and by the way it has lojack on board. He eyes got wide and he left. Car was found in San Bernardino abandoned three hours later. read more

The place is wonderful but be aware of a big group of adolescents hanging out in the restaurant area snatching purses and stealing wallets, I believe the leaders are 2 black boys, one of them has a tattoo on half of his face. I was eating inside chipotle last night and they wanted to steal my purse but they couldn't. People be mindful of your surroundings and hold on to your kids and belongings. This place is nice but they need to step up on security, I don't think these kids live in town. read more

Great shopping, landscaping, no issues there. This is a review of the dining experiences. If you go to eat on the patio be warned tables are always filthy and trash is never taken out and piled up on top. Poor management especially fri, sat and sun night. read more
