Location is OK, right next to an expressway and train tracks, but the noise level was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in went well, breakfast in the morning was being refilled. The room itself was nice, clean and well set up. There was good bed and linens, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV and even a nice little sitting area. Decor was fine, nothing special, but good enough. Heating/AC worked fine and overall this was a nice place to stay. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Now for a bit of nitpicking. The view from my room was to the front canopy. The room had no USB ports to use in charging my phone or any other modern electronics, at this point I have come to expect that all I need is a USB cord. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim to my liking. The breakfast overall was fine with some nice touches, however they were out of quite a few items: no regular tea, no yogurt, pancake machine not working, and no hot cereal. Holiday Inn Express is one of the more expensive hotels in Bradford, while the hotel is clean and not a bad place to stay, however they need to pay a bit more attention to the small details to justify the cost. Fine place to stay but probably not the best value in Bradford.

OYO translates to "Cecil lite"…read more This place advertises like a modern hotel would but lacks on follow thru. There is NO air conditioning, TV was inoperable (no remote or way to scan for channels), missing smoke detector.... isn't that a violation? I also found a beer can someone was previously using to ash in. I did request a non smoking room but it was apparent someone had been smoking. The walls are thin so you'll hear your neighbor and be able to catch a wiff of whatever they're smoking. The bed was okay however you'll need the window open for air which also brings in constant traffic noise at all hours. I chose to stay because of the history of the building more so and didn't expect much as far as lodging amenities. There were a few sketchy characters I encountered. I don't recommend a long term stay here and being aware of your surroundings. Bathroom was a bit scary - mostly original and frankly a pain in the ass. The sink has prison-like faucets as if we can't be trusted to turn the water off. A picture is worth a 1000 words but trust me - you don't want to see pictures. The elevator seemed cool but was only for "staff and maintenance" so probably not that safe to use for the gen pop. All in all this isn't the best choice. 1 star because I wasn't murdered, raped, robbed, or assaulted (STM reference).

So we flew from LAX to Buffalo, NY, which allowed us to visit Niagara Falls (stunning) and then take a quick drive south to Bradford, PA (home of Zippo lighters). The first thing one notices when entering this part of Pennsylvania is how well-kept the homes and farms are. And when you turn onto the access road to the Glendorn Lodge, you see their farm-to-table patch of a vegetable farm. Once through the gate, the drive is a couple of miles to the main lodge and check-in. The staff are so wonderful and polite, calling us by our last names, which is very formal but a nice touch! Our home, cabin, was lovely beyond description. The master bedroom was stunning, the screened-in porch was perfect for 10 to 12 people hanging out (ideal for a family reunion), and we had an outdoor fireplace/pit blazing and roasting marshmallows for the kids. The next morning, we rode bicycles that you keep at your cabin home. We went out on a small lake with paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, etc. We also played volleyball and had lunch catered and delivered to the lake - fantastic service. The next day we played tennis, swam, basketball and even shot skeet! As our time at Glendorn came to a close, we reflected on the unparalleled service and the deep sense of relaxation we experienced throughout our stay. The staff truly went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was perfect, and their personalized approach made us feel like cherished guests rather than just visitors. To cap off our trip, we took a leisurely drive back toward Buffalo, savoring the memories of Niagara Falls and our time at the resort. We left Glendorn with our spirits lifted, ready to cherish the beauty of nature and the luxury of wonderful hospitality. If you ever find yourself in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania, I highly recommend Glendorn for an unforgettable retreat. It's a hidden gem that beautifully combines nature, comfort, and top-notch service!

Thankful for the respectful treatment , rooms look bigger in pictures but I care more about the environment included in price! Great price, great environment, small rooms but comfortable beds!
