Please understand this is a Motel and not a Hotel. The doors to your room are outside and anyone…read moreoff the streets can walk up and knock on them. I didn't realize this when I was making my arrangements. I didn't feel like the safety lock on the door was secure so I quickly put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of my door. I arrived late in the evening and was given a room. I noticed that the television didn't work. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone in the room was totally dead. I had to use my cell phone to call. They didn't send anyone to assist me, but told me to unplug the cable and wait. I did this and the television still didn't work. They had to move me to a different room. The t.v. in the new room worked, but the telephone was dead also. The water was hot in the shower and the beds are comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff is nice. There is NO complimentary breakfast like the website said. There is a restaurant in the back on the hotel complex that you can go to and buy food. The food and prices were decent. Personally, I won't stay here again because of the safety factor.

Our tour guide was good as far as information but my husband and I both thought he was a little flippant towards people in the group and although he would say "you'll have time for pictures" he would be audibly irritated with people if they were more than a couple feet behind the person in front of them or if they talked quietly amongst themselves while stopped to take said picture. It's not the most expensive tour we have taken but allowing each group of ppl in the group a few seconds to snap a picture should be allowed for the price you pay. I would recommend this cavern to people trying to choose from several in the area.

My Nana then purchased the room. Later on, a week or so later, my Nana returned to make sure everything was still all good. The front desk attendant this time was extremely rude. She told my Nana that they "don't do birthday parties". My Nana informed her that she was told they did and that's why she purchased a room. The attendant retorted with "well it's only 4 adults to a room so that's all that can come". Luckily, another guest chimed in and told the attendant that there were 3 birthday parties the prior weekend! My Nana also informed the attendant that it would only be my sister (9), a baby, and a handful of adults and there would not be an issue. The attendant reluctantly consulted the manager who, per the attendant, said "well can do it this time, but no more." When we went in for her party, we were met with a kind desk attendant and staff. Maybe this was just a fluke, but it was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. TLDR; Greenfield Inn and Suites made for a fun 9th birthday party and yummy breakfast despite the inconsistent information/hospitality from staff.

Another big plus was the excellent price for the stay--it was very reasonable for the quality and comfort we received. We choose to rent the entire house as well but you don't have to do that. Renting the B&B for our family and friends from out of town provided a much more intimate event for us and allowed us use of the entire place with zero interference or interruption. It was like being in our own large fancy house. There were many changes. They accommodated. From our wedding doubling in size of attendees, to the bridal party forgetting that they needed to leave one car at the house and the owner of this B&B driving me to my hair appointment the day of my wedding-the personal service is top notch. My parents couldn't be there. Theresa doubled as my mom and stayed with us to make sure that every single detail was perfect. We added extra people for breakfast; no problem.
