The hotel was clean but paint peeling and breakfast was minimal as cook told us she ran out of biscuits and gravy. No oatmeal/grits but they had an empty pot out. This is not a cheap hotel for the area but it was a definite disappointment.

However there were a few spots on the benches and floors that were a bit sticky from a slipped drink or something else. The women's bathroom was clean and stocked. They have a snack bar too with concession options. But there wasn't staff man it at the time we tried to get snacks and drinks. Overall great place and kids had fun and loved the soccer field and basketball courts.

They are dog friendly and service dog friendly, which is appreciated. We were given a magnet to put on our door stating that dogs were in the room for the hotel staff and other customers. The room smelled very clean and didn't give me any issues with my allergies. I always have to check and room out before I bring my things in. My nose is so sensitive. Lol. The only downsides that we found we the room keys. They didn't always take and open the door for us; but that doesn't mean the key didn't eventually work. Also, we had a small toilet paper roll and no extra toilet paper roll under the sink. We had Kleenex to use; but it honestly felt like sandpaper. The Cupboard had a variety of food items but seemingly pricy, as in 1 individual pop tart package was $2.00. The small kitchen inside the rooms were nice though. Full size fridge/freezer with 4 sets of silverware, plates, bowls and cups. It was nice to feel reassured that this establishment cares about sanitizing, when all of the dishes were newly cleansed in the dishwasher. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

His means no A/C until you return to your room at night so you sweat as it tries to cool your room from 80 degrees. Then it turns off over night since you're sleeping and not setting off the motion sensor, so you wake up in a pool of sweat. Pretty darn unpleasant and the main reason for 2 stars Will I stay again? Absolutely not. "Energy efficient" is code for uncomfortable.

Inside the performing art center the auditorium is clean and comfy. Nice cushioned seating with some leg room to walk down the aisle and arm rest on each seat. No food allowed in, but they do offer confession as booster for the program. Always fun and beautiful shows and if you stay after the shows, you can meet the entire cast!
