Don't do business with this company unless you are ok with paying more then the quoted amount and you want to be threatened with a lien on your house less than 48 hours after receiving the bill because they didn't understand the scope of the job that was quoted by their employee. I contracted with Tim to remove a hot tub in Fairplay. He quoted $600 to remove the hot tub after seeing the job site. There was about 20 feet of wooden fencing around the hot tub for privacy; Tim said he would have to move the fence but that he couldn't remove the fencing materials from the property. I agreed to that and he said he would stack the wood up against the perimeter fencing. I requested pictures be taken when the job was done since I live out of town. He said he would do that. He called after he finished the job on Friday 5/9 and said it was "a mess" but the hot tub was gone and he would charge me closer to $1000 instead of the agreed upon $600. I asked if the fence was stacked out of the way as we agreed and he said it was out of the way. I asked about pictures and he said he forgot. Our realtor went by and took pictures on Sat 5/10 and the fencing was in the middle of the yard and the cinderblock fence supports were strewn around the yard. She was also there on Sunday 5/11 getting quotes from handymen to clean up the mess and it was still there. A week later, on Saturday 5/17 I received a bill for $950 that included a line item for hauling away the fence - Tim had told me he was unable to do this and it was not part of my verbal contract with him. I had already contracted with another handyman to clean up the mess that was left behind by Tim and that included hauling away the fencing. On Sunday 5/18 I reached out to Tim's company via email about this discrepancy between the bill and the original agreement for his service as I believed the fence was hauled away by the handyman. I received a message from Heather on Monday 5/19 at 10:15 am telling me that the bill was past due and if the bill wasn't paid by noon that same day she would put a lien on the house, giving me less than two hours to figure out who actually hauled away the fence, Tim or the handyman. that was less than 48 hours after receiving the bill in my email. Heather said they didn't get back to clean up the fencing until 5/13. They sent the bill on 5/17 saying it was due on 5/13. So it was past due before they sent me the bill. I paid the $950 instead of the agreed upon $600 once Heather provided pictures of the truck hauling away the fence. No one at this company provided me with final pictures of the job site. Working with Heather was not pleasant. She said we got the job much cheaper than it should have been because Tim misquoted the job. That is a business problem, not the customers fault and that isn't grounds for threatening a lien just because she felt her employee under bid the job. Very unprofessional and poor communication from the employees during and after the job. I would avoid doing business with this company unless everything is in writing and you are physically there to closely monitor their work. read more

Heather and mountain life hot tubs damaged our brand new hot tub. She recommeded the hot tub that we purchased then used chemicals that weren't supposed to be used in the tub. It caused damage to the acrylic that was not re-pairable. We sought a resolution with her after terminating our contract. She refused to answer emails. Use a different company. read more
