They sell patterns along with yarn and finished products. All of it was high quality stuff. All the fibers are naturally sourced, which is great in today's yarn economy. ABSOLUTELY WORTH A STOP. These folks make their own wool sweaters, wool hats, wool slippers, you name it out of sheep's wool from three ranches here in Wyoming. Plus, they make a ton of beautiful yarn. And are a zero-waste place! Susie gave us the best tour we could have ever wished for. YARNOLD. Come visit the best sheep ever! You can feed him peanuts but he likes animal crackers better. He's a sweetheart and a unique sheep from Switzerland who loves tender face scratches. And his name is Yarnold. A neat place to learn about how wool is made and see a real operational factory. This is an easy place to map to in Buffalo, Wy. It is a large building not very far off the interstate. You check in at the front counter. Amy was very pleasant. She sits you down and lets you watch two 3-minute videos explaining the process. Then they hand you a "quiz" with several questions and take you into the factory. The parts you can visit are set up upstairs overlooking the two main rooms of the factory with explanation boards that explain the various parts of the process. The last room upstairs shows the various types of wool and products that are available. If you bring your completed "quiz" downstairs you can get 10% off your purchase. Note, look on the wall next to the register. Their company was highlighted at the White House in 2018. Very cool. Lovely staff and a neat place to learn the process. read more

Upon arrival it looked like a big giant warehouse. They had a cute little shop set up inside. It's really need to see a family owned company still in business. We came in on a tour and had a blast. I toured the mill with six other couples yesterday afternoon. What a wonderful tour. Karen, the owner, walked us through the process from start (raw wool in four hundred pound bales) to finish (beautiful yarns in a multitude of weights and colors)! It was fascinating to see what happens to all that beautiful yarn I knit with before it gets to me! Thank you Karen for all the knowledge you shared! Oh and besides all of the yarns they have in their little shop, it is stocked with wonderful woolen gifts from hats and dryer balls to beautiful sweaters and blankets. Do yourself a favor stop in for a tour M-F at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and grab a few fantastic, woolly souvenirs! read more
