I was told I couldn't be seen any more because I couldn't pay my balance. I can't pay my balance until I am healed and can go back to work or get my settlement. When did it become okay to put money above ones health? And if this was the case I should have been told prior to making the appointment. I live 30 minutes away and cannot drive due to my injury. The receptionist are very rude and disrespectful. There are a few people who seem like they actually care other than that they do not care about patience or their well being. Not to mention my doctor made me feel like a drug addict because I asked for pain medication for my pain. I strongly recommend you go somewhere else.

Her death was sudden and unexpected, with no known cause, especially considering she had appeared healthy and stable in the days leading up to it. I truly believe the death of my sister could have been easily prevented if the hospital and staff would have done their jobs correctly. We were deeply troubled that the hospital REFUSED to perform an autopsy despite the circumstances leaving our family with serious unanswered questions. To make matters even more difficult, the independent medical examiner we hired was initially unable to locate her body because the hospital had transferred her to another facility without our knowledge, allegedly due to issues with their AC system. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, the confusion, lack of communication, and added delays caused even more pain for our grieving family. We are not looking for conflict -- we are looking for transparency, accountability, and answers. No grieving family should have to fight this hard to understand what happened to someone they love.

My other daughter went to Grace (UNC Health Blue Ridge, Morganton, NC) yesterday and the treatment was top notch. The doctor was amazing! She was determined to do everything possible to alleviate her symptoms. The food is a better quality 9the kitchen staff go out of their way to accommodate special diets) and she was treated like a beloved family member by the staff! What a difference!
