Mountain Pacific Roofing did a great job. It was a small job that required replacing a broken wind turbine. Clemente and his crew showed up and replaced it and also inspected my roof for any items requiring attention, per my request. He showed me signs of deteriorating seals that should be addressed, specifically around the pipes, and I agreed to have that fixed as well all at a great price. I found the company's name in the "BBB accredited roofing contractors" site. I was looking for an A+ rating which Mountain Pacific Roofing achieved. I phoned the company to setup an appointment for a free estimate for a replacement of the underlayment of the entire roof of my house. Clemente showed up promptly at the promised time. He inspected and measured the roof which became the basis of his cost estimate. As promised, he provided a detailed written pricing proposal. Out of the four estimates provided by different companies, MPR had the lowest price. I chose this company not only for the price but also the.promptness of Clemente in the inspection process and the timely submission of the pricing proposal. The actual work commenced one week after I signed the job contract. My payments were made in three segments: 1) due after demolition of the old felt underlayment, 2) due upon delivery of required materials and 3) final payment due upon completion of the job. Clemente and his team completed the project a few days earlier than expected. The city inspector visited twice and signed off on the completed work without any issue. Clemente also furnished me photos of the project from demolition to completion so I have an idea what were done and how it looked like. Beware of this company! Clemente seemed nice at first, gave a good estimate for my roof repair ( which was in line with other estimates). He seemed to be very polite so I agreed to the repairs. A few days later, he texted saying the job cannot be done until 3 months later due to their workload. Since I was not in a hurry, I agreed. Then the next day, he texted again and doubled the price, saying he made a mistake??!!! Very shady company, Stay away from this one. I worked with Clemente from start to finish. We went back on forth on what was the best type of material for my home and he was extremely patient consistently corresponding throughout the process. We agreed on a start date and how much time my project would take and moved forward after agreeing to materials, the extent of the job, and the cost. Clemente went above what any of the five other contractor who I met with in terms of really checking the rafters from inside where I had leaks. One leak was in the living room and the other in the bathroom. He actually crawled under the roof (flat roof) to really identify where water was getting in. One of our ridge tiles got loose from our roof and fell. I immediately thought oh my this would be one of those unexpected expenses which we didn't need at these time of "uncertainties". I came across Mountain Pacific Roofing on Yelp and immediately was able to book an appointment the following day. Of all the roofers I got in touch with, this was the only one who didn't put a hefty pricetag for the service. Clemente arrived on time and was able to replace our tile. Because it wasn't a big job, he didn't charge us for anything. God bless him. We still paid him at least for his service and gas. He was heaven sent. Mountain Pacific Roofing was one of three contractors who quoted us for our residential re-roof project. Their price was right in line with the other contractors, but it was clear from my first interaction with them that they were the most professional of the group. The owner, Clemente, showed up to the estimate appointment on time and presented information on his company and his contractor's license and insurance, along with a preliminary quote he put together using Google Earth imagery. It was immediately clear that he valued my time and my project. Once we were ready to begin, he drafted a Contract and helped me through the process of permitting and purchasing materials. He gave me tons of options along the way and never rushed or pushed me into any decisions. His crew did a great job and we passed both inspections first try with no issues. Clemente was extremely easy to reach at all times. It was really nice to finally have a Contractor that immediately returned my calls and texts. I had a few last-minute changes to the project, and he was able to accommodate them no problem. When the project was complete, his crew did the honest thing and left any extra material on site for me to return, then he set me up with a lifetime warranty through the shingle manufacturer, as he's a GAF certified installer.
