The plumber we've used for years was extremely busy and tied up until January, but they referred us to Alca Plumbing. Alca scheduled a date a few days away and comfortably within the time frame we needed. The technician worked diligently to replace the old valve and offered a choice of new valves so that we can be sure to avoid the problem we had been dealing with. The cost was very reasonable and we were extremely relieved to have the problem solved before the first hard freeze. The job involved his contractor buddy, which is pretty much what ruined the whole deal with him screaming and yelling at me for no valid reason.
