I've been coming here for over two years for Botox and IPL. Highly recommend Sarah! She has great bedside manner, listens well and is considers pain management for injections which I haven't experienced with all the injectors at this clinic. The front desk staff is efficient, thoughtful and professional. This clinic also frequently offers great deals on services that I take advantage of every year. Cons: one of the owners can be too familiar, unprofessional and casual. I found it uncomfortable that she shared so much of her personal life and overtly struggled setting up for my treatment. While the other owner's technique is superb I don't care for his bedside manner and he seemed resistant or kept forgetting my requests for pain management. read more

This is definitely my favorite face salon in asheville. The staff are super friendly and down to earth. There is no pretension here. Lauren and her husband are the owners, and she is so warm. I also felt like I could trust my esthetician Sarah who was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She took the time to explain every action that she was taking so that there no surprises. It felt a bit like a trauma informed facial (in the same way that we have trained informed yoga). They are also into high tech machines here which I really like. Dr. Zacher was awesome. I was a loyal patient for 5 years. but he retired late summer 2021. These people do not provide the same service as Dr. Zacher. Very unprofessional group, seem to lose my records everytine I go in, and I have had to fill out extensive history every time. The two Botox treatments I had didn't last as long as they did with previous owner/doctor. Not sure if it's technique or product. They inject more units, but they dint seem to "take" now. I went to Mounatain Radiance for 5 1/2 years. I'm going somewhere else for better results and service. As men & West Coast/WeHo/Venice Beach transplants, (and brand conscious consumers) we didn't expect to find the obviously highly experienced & locally respected "Dr. Z" as our East Coast injectable, botox Wizard. But he IS good! Almost always easy to get in @ Mtn Radiance. Just been in Asheville for almost a couple years, but never had a booking issue with Mtn. R. - even a few weeks before a major Holiday we seem to get in with easy scheduling. Dr. Z is fast (which we like), knows where to put the Botox and we're definitely giv'n him some stars *****! Botox/Injectables are the only things we've had from him so far, so that's all we can comment on, but we've read the reviews about hair removal and other offerings and won't hesitate when it's time for that. When you relocate from coast to (the other) coast, certain things you gotta know the location of right away (or actually, BEFORE you consider relocation :)... 1. Your favorite local watering hole, Coffee house (gotta love ODD'S on Haywood!), 2. Best and most progressive (and affordable) dentist (cosmetic & general - Dr. Bernier is the best in West Asheville & on Merrimon Ave. in North Ash too!), 3. Best Vietnamese dive (that's hard to get in at lunch on a Weds at 2:00) - ain't found it yet but we won't stop till we do ;(, and most importantly for us, rainbow flag carrying middle aged fellas...., 4. The best Botox place in town! That's Mtn. Radiance and "Dr. Z", no doubt. We are happy, very satisfied and highly recommend the place, and the man-doc and his quick-fix painless injectables. Yay!! Very friendly, welcoming and professional, they take their time and explain things while making sure you have a great experience and results. They are affordable and accessible. I've been searching for the right person for my laser hair removal for a while. Do I go with an aesthetician or someone just certified in the field? Electrolysis or laser? Dr. Zacher is definitely that exact person for me. He's actually a board certified anesthesiologist and also has extensive knowledge of the cosmetic side of medicine. When I went in for my first session of laser hair removal, he explained the entire process, and didn't leave any of my questions unanswered. Ultimately laser is the superior choice and less time consuming. There is a little bit of a sting, but nothing that lasts more than a few seconds. The sessions are so quick, you could seriously come in for a session on your lunch break. He is by far the best in the field in the area. Not to mention his equipment is top of the line.
