Beautiful redecorated cowgirls bathroom. Shows Pride of ownership!!!

Great stop for a night or a season. Excellent management. Very helpful. We will be back!!!

Its an OK park for an overnighter. Enough space and power for big rigs. Slow Internet. Only 4 tv. Channels. Laundry room consisted of 3 washing machines and dryers. Oh yeah...and Rattlesnake warnings. Don't let your little kids or dog fido play around the grounds or a rattler might just get em. The worst part of this RV park is that they put thier dump site at the exit of the park. So if your wanting to leave and you have a bunch of rigs in front of you that want to dump thier crap....well...you better have a lot of patience, because your not going anywhere until everyone is done dumping. Its just crappy waiting around.

Recently under new management. Have been staying here off and on for 5 years! Great clean place, good spots and very friendly staff will treat you like family. Recently hosted a potluck for the whole camp ground! They made great food, had a amazing outcome. 100% recommend stopping at this campground

The office with hills in backdrop.

You can't help but fall in love with the proprietors of this quaint little campground. (Thank you for the microwave meatloaf recipe!! I can't wait to try it!!) If your looking for a pool or outdated miniature golf course to amuse your children, this is not your place. If you want your children to take in the beauty of the Montana mountains, in a clean, grassy campgrounds, don't miss the 408 exit, off the 90 fwy. Yes, it's close to the freeway, but oddly enough, the freeway noise is not bad at all & becomes white noise before you even realize it. The price is more than fair. We will indeed stop here when passing through 'The Big Sky' state again.

The hill behind the RV park. Pretty.

It's a quiet RV park even though it's right off the highway. It's close enough to Billings, Montana as well.

They have a whole bunch of campsites behind the office that are in a wooded area along the Rock Creek. And I am serious when I say along the creek.... they are right ON the creek. It's so much nicer than any other RV park we've been too. It's so nice and wooded. There is room between sites. Most places are like parking in a parking lot. The upper area by the road is more like that. But if your rig fits, and there have been some bigs one in here, I'd recommend going into the creek side area. There are also tent only sites as well as Tee-Pees. We decided to stay here because my hubby needed to fly out of town for a few days. We wanted somewhere that we didn't need to worry about my safety. I have no qualms about being here alone at all! It is a very safe place! It's very quiet at night and most of the folks go out adventuring during the day. So the daytime is quiet as well. The bathrooms are clean, the water is HOT and the water pressure is wonderful for those of us who like it like that. And really, who doesn't?! The place is owned by a very nice couple! They are only open during the summer months. If you are going to Red Lodge or traveling over the Beartooth Pass, this is a great place to spend a night. Or spend more time and enjoy some hiking in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. P.S. they are dog friendly too.

Negative: the sites are EXTREMELY close together, especially on the lower level along the river. Expect to be looking into your neighbor's living room. No sewer as campground flooded several years ago (apparently creating environmental issues), so you'll need to dump often if there for more than a couple of days. And if you're not an animal lover, this isn't the place for you.

Eventually someone let her in. There was another junky car parked nearby that also clearly didn't belong there. So I was happy to be leaving because otherwise felt like my stuff would get stolen if I didn't watch it closely as we were packing up. I had called the "after hours" number twice about the lady before she got in but was directed to leave a message each time. All that said, I felt safe until then. The bathrooms and showers were clean and also plentiful. We played the mini golf there, which was free. We walked down to the Yellowstone River, which was steps away. It was stunning with lots of cool rocks. The one-room cabin was good. A code to get in, which was nice. Air conditioner and little fridge and desk with chair. Bunk beds and also another (full size?) bed. The curtains were good at blocking out light. The little shop had coffee in the morning but like all other koa's not until 8am. We had a fire pit at our cabin. I recommend this place but watch your belongings and don't let vagrants in the bathroom.
