Instead of a regular crew, this guy apparently picks up 'day workers' here and there. The guys he brought with him looked like a bunch of ex-cons, drunks and other questionable characters. They were rude and hostile to us, no matter how kind we were to them. These untrained workers wound up making a mess of my 100-year-old Victorian: First off, they didn't bother to scrape any of the old, loose paint off first, so naturally, the paint they slapped over it began peeling within a year. There were areas where paint was applied so thinly that you could see the old paint color below. In other places, they left large spots totally unpainted (a roofer brought this to our attention months later). These slobs threw things all over the place, carelessly stepped on objects and broke them, etc. The entire job was chaotic mess! Kellogg himself is very argumentative person, defending his inept men and their sloppy work. Any time we'd point out something his guys were doing wrong - rather than acknowledging and correcting it - he'd start an argument with us instead! It was an extremely unpleasant and frustrating situation all around. The finished product was a mediocre paint job that required us to hire another painter just to come and do remedial repairs and touching-up on the mess Kellogg and his crew left us with. I will never deal with this unprofessional "painter" and his unskilled workers again.

Do not use Kevin and his crew for any home repairs. We helped our son last year renovate his condo…read morehe purchased. My son reached out to Kevin to hire his company to repair a small laminate flooring issue (wasn't an install issue) and he waa absolutely expecting to pay. We weren't concerned as we purchased lots of extra boards for this very purpose should a repair be needed. Kevin agreed to the job and sent one of his workers to do the repair. She had no clue what to do but proceeded to rip the molding off the wall, destroy the paint, tear up over 1/3 of the floor boards, breaking them in the process and then broke so many of the brand new boards so that there was no longer enough to repair the small floor crack. Then after destroying the floors she left saying "I can't do this!!" My son reached out to Kevin who promised he would come look, never did! It cost over $2,000 to redo the entire floor (of course flooring was discontinued so couldn't buy more). My son contacted Kevin to see what he was willing to pay towards the floor his worker destroyed and weeks later absolutely no response back!!! You can't get more unprofessional!!!! Horribow!! DO NOT HIRE!!

Ruined my porch which was a simple repair any decent carpenter could have done. A quoted $10k job that was to take 2 weeks turned into $30+ thousand and never finished. The workmanship was garbage from unskilled workers he used but charged me for skilled tradesmen. He was never there. Lots of his "team" smoking and sitting around. Very infuriating. One year later I have another crew fixing and finishing it. Caveat emptor!
