When I started asking for too many trivial things to do around the house they suggested how I could DYI most of those little things and save a ton. For example they told me "no point having two service calls to trim the edge of and old plate-glass mirror (to remove moisture damage)" when at the store they would trim it for only $10--I just had to remove the mirror and take it to the store myself, where they even helped me unload-load it to my car.

When I called, the owner said it would be $395 + tax and that I would have to pay a $100 deposit when confirming the appointment. What he didn't say was that I would have to pay 3% charge for my credit card. There was no other option available when prompted to confirm on my phone. I'm not saying this place was bad, but if you are shopping around for prices, this is a more expensive option.
