Steel Mill accident, where 18,000 lbs of steel…read morerolled up my leg, "Grade III Open fracture of tibia/fibula, significant soft tissue loss, crush injury", life flighted to Presby hospital. Had 8 surgeries in 3 wks, requiring a "Skin Flap" (11 hr surgery headed by Dr Russavage), a muscle taken from thigh, artery sewn into lower leg, significant microvascular surgery -more extensive than I even understand, high risk for infection/ "not taking", why leeches were used in ICU for a week +, Never got an infection under Trauma Team headed by Dr Ivan Tarkin & Dr Russavage. 7 months later, 9th surgery, a Bone Graft, Dr R re-opened the Skin Flap, I was walking before the Bone Graft & I am walking now, I have "Drop foot "due to the crushing, so I use a brace & a cane when out & about, its been a long road to recovery but I made it, deeply thankful , indebted with gratitude for my Trauma Team. I & wife especially looked forward to visits with Dr Russavage, LOVED his bedside manner, witty, very personable, always laughed during our appointments, he almost became a Dentist, we think he'd made a fine Comedian, a man of many talents I say... His fine surgical skill saved MY LEG from an amputation. He was wonderful to explain things in a down to earth manner to make it relatable, with humor & wit. Also GREAT staff, Morgan deserves a mention, answering all questions quickly on My UPMC. Dr Russavage is known for taking difficult cases, so I have heard, with a good outcome... I was one of those.

I did not have braces as a child and decided to fix my teeth in my 30's. This place is very welcoming and the people who work there are just amazing. Basically you get assigned a student for your teeth journey and don't work Dr. King there is awesome and is there for the whole process too to make sure the work is correct. I went with invisalign and its great bc they have new imaging systems so you don't have to get those horrible molds of your mouth. As for cost I felt they were a great price as if you think about it, there is no over cost. You pay for the materials and thats all. If your insurance doesn't cover the cost you can also go on a payment plan with no interest which is great. I am just finishing my invisalign journey and I could not be any more happier with the process I had and the results!

Dr. Ray has been my dentist for years. Going to the dentist is never a present experience. Throughout the years, Dr. Ray has only made this experience worse. Starting with his demeanor, let's call it... Less than friendly. He does not make you feel welcome. The last time I was there he did not even say hello to me. I'm serious, I took note of it. And, whatever. I could overlook this. I don't care if you aren't nice to me if you're good at your job. If he didn't mess my teeth up (worse than they are) and pull on the outside of my mouth with a metal instrument so hard that it rubbed the skin off and started bleeding. I was getting a cavity filled and my face was being yanked way more than normal, I couldn't feel anything because I was numb. He was actually driving his metal instrument into my face, grinding the skin off of it. I mean, I get not saying hi, but taking it a little too far maybe? I included pictures. Cavities he's done on me have broken within two years or turned into abscesses that need expensive root canals. The last straw was when he did a cavity and it became infected within two weeks (I'm honestly not exaggerating). There are much better dentists in Greensburg. Especially if you don't want to end up with your face bleeding, looking like you have a reverse cold sore.
