I called and was told that was the cost due to the denture being less than a year old and insurance would not cover it. When I tried to tell them that he had never worn the denture because it did not fit properly which meant that it was not made correctly. Kandace got very defensive saying it was made correctly and she didn't know what to tell me but if I come down to the office (my husband was in the chair), they would show me what they were doing. As for my mother, she was told all of her fillings were too old, and needed to be redrilled and replaced. Well i was highly suspicious of this being that my brother had never have a cavity and i had never heard of anyone having all of their cavities redrilled. I urged them to go seek out a second opinion. Well They went to a different dentist for a second opinion, who using the same x-rays and an exam determined that my brother had zero cavities and would not need his wisdom teeth removed. As for my mother, they said maybe there was one cavity that needed re-drilled but other than that she was also given a clean bill of health. I'm not sure whether this is poor dentistry or a money scheme but I would avoid this dentist office.
