This is an excellent company. They were very flexible, responsive, and cooperative on scheduling…read more They delivered on everything they promised by being on time and completing work quickly at a very competitive price. They moved our possessions out of a two-bedroom apartment into a local self-storage in addition to taking away some items we didn't want. They also helped with other tasks beyond what was promised on the work order and were nice, friendly, and helpful all around. Joe, the owner, and Thomas did our job and were the best. They are also great because they can respond on a same day basis if necessary. We will be using this company for all our near term junk removal, clean up, and local moving needs. We highly recommend them.

I only give 2 stars bc of all the different pricing I got. When I booked them the woman on the…read morephone said the most I'd be charged was $635. The truck was so small and couldn't fit all the stuff. The 2 young men were very polite and worked hard. One trying to justify why it cost so much. Was not justified at all! It was the size of moving 1 bedroom apartment. Yet they couldn't make it fit. But they tried their best which I truly appreciated! I was desperate and needed the stuff gone. Then I heard mam'e what do you want us to do bc we can't fit in one load. All I could hear is another $900 bill. I told them thank you take whatcha got and go on. So here I am wondering who will carry the rest??! Again I thank those 2 young men. They said they are working 70 hours a week. Apparently the owner is ok ripping people off!

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?…read more I scheduled a furniture pickup over the phone--not online--and was explicitly told by a representative that my items would be donated and that I would receive a donation receipt. The on-site team reiterated the same information. That assurance was the deciding factor in choosing this service. To be clear: I would not have selected this company had I known this would be the outcome. After paying nearly $400 for this service, no donation receipt was provided. In this economy, that's not a minor issue--it was a key part of the value I was told to expect. When I contacted customer service, I was redirected from the national line to a local office, where I was told I "should not have been told that" and was advised to use my paid service receipt as a tax write-off instead. That is not an acceptable substitute for a legitimate donation receipt. I also reviewed your website and found no clear public-facing policy stating that donation receipts are not provided--yet your team explicitly told me I would receive one. That level of inconsistency is unacceptable. If this is truly company policy, it needs to be clearly communicated upfront--not contradicted multiple times during the sales and service process. Customers should not be misled into expecting documentation that will not be provided. I am requesting: * Clarification of your official policy regarding donation receipts * Accountability for the misinformation provided * A resolution for this specific situation At this point, this reflects a clear misrepresentation of services and a breakdown in communication. I would appreciate a prompt and transparent response.
