I read reviews and gathered that it was a great place to visit, especially during the autumn time. The parking lot was spacious right off the busy road. They offer hayrides and there was a pumpkin patch; you can pick your own in the field or in the store. There was a garden center and farm store. The farm store had jams, jellies, apples, gourds, cookies, veggies, pumpkins, mums, hot sauces, etc. They had wheelbarrows for you to use, if you're planning to buy a few big pumpkins. They also had an apple fritter/donut/cider stand. I purchased half a dozen of apple fritters for $8; you can add extra cinnamon sugar. Those apple fritters looked like donut holes but tasted like apple donuts, it was very splendid! Overall, a great spot to stop by if you're into the small town farm vibes. There was a beautiful view of the Heublein tower on the hill and the fall foliage. It's the perfect fall activity!

They had dozens of charming and friendly vendors, selling beer, baked goods, soaps, maple products, and a whole lot of fresh produce. There was a BBQ Stand, an ice cream stand, an a donut stand. They had live music in the form of a young guitarist-vocalist with the very cool name of Adelaide Punkin- and let me tell you, she was great. We walked around and picked up a bag of beef jerky from the West's Side Jerky stand, a small tomato focaccia plus biscottis and scones from Better Baking By Beth and a few Apple Cider donuts from another cool name we saw at the Market - Dude's Donuts. Oh no, that would have been too ordinary. Instead, they kicked off the market with a baguette slicing ceremony! They are brand new and are opened from June 19 to October 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You'll find them in the Town Hall parking lot. Vendors listed on the website include a Wellness booth, farm and bakery stands, Italian Ice, seafood, mushrooms, sustainable animal products, Vodka sauce (fantastic), cheese, salsa, coffee, I'm not sure I saw all of them there in the heat yesterday, so maybe there will be more as we move away from summer into the fall. We picked up two ears of corn from Halls Farm in Simsbury and had them last night with dinner, and yes, they were very good. Parking is free and super easy in the massive town hall parking lot.

Unlike other local markets that only have hours suitable for SAHMs, they have reasonable hours; open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. As for produce, they are many vendors, but hey, it makes shopping easy. There is a baked goods table and the only table worth stopping at is the Berger Produce where I bought a pint of blueberries, half a pint of yellow tomatoes, squash, kale, and lemon cucumbers. I ate the tomatoes and blueberries in one day. There is also a scent table and a doggie treat station. The market is on the front lawn of the New Britain Youth Museum, but parking can be tight if it gets busy.

But they had a lot of choices, so we'll be back in mid-May. We also like their indoor store; they have some fresh-grown tomatoes that are tasty and sell some very good locally grown canned and bottled products (try their apple sauce - really yummy).
