Brand new sheets, tons of pillows, each cabin is decorated in country style. 3 miles from Main Street and 1 mile tucked into the back woods sits 250 acres of quiet, starlight and scenic tranquility. Dave Somers has refurbished all cabins and cabin 4 was our place for 7 delightful days. (4 over looks a beautiful pond and faces the sunrise). The owner Maryanne is personable, professional, and a joy to be around. She cares deeply about the horses on her property. I sleep soundly knowing my horse is in her care. This barn is full of very inviting people that are genuinely so kind and fun to be around. I have taken lessons from Maryanne and she introduced me to her trainer, Katherina, who took me on as her.atudent. Katherina is an amazing teacher. She is firm but kind and clear in her instruction. She can pick up on how I'm doing and adjust the lessons to my needs at the time. She is a wealth of knowledge. The lessons have been such a blessing, with her help I transition from western to full English. Truly, the transition wouldn't have gone so easily without her direction. Katherina is the one that started my horse and trained her in dressage and BOY! She did such an amazing job. Even a novice like myself can see what an excellent job she has done. Katherina cares for both the rider and the horse, she is tuned in during the lessons.

No illness and no parasites. This horse is the one that I bred. The vet said her not settling was most likely due to the severe weight loss. Clean, well maintained, and ample amenities present. Mini split did a great job keeping up with the 94 degree heat outside. It had a covered back porch with chairs and a swing. Out front was a fire pit, a PK brand grill, and a picnic table. Great amenities. Comfy bed and all appliances worked properly. The kayak rentals are expensive in my opinion. But, they do have a market for them and I am sure the insurance and operations of this place cost a dime at least. I wonder how many people drown on the river a year. Hmmm. I'll have to research. I would absolutely come back here in a heartbeat. The river was great. They moved our vehicle to the pick up spot for us. The process of getting the rentals was easy and efficient. She advertises this area as part of her horseback riding tour but she doesn't have permission from the owners to be there. Amber has complete disregard for other people at the creek. She takes her horses right on top of other people trying to enjoy the area, putting them at risk by potentially getting injured by her horses and let's the horses poop all around the other people in the water. Plus she always has a pack of unleashed dogs that she lets run wild. Moreover, she gets the horses to deep into the water where they start freaking out and a child was bucked off the horse due to Ambers unsafe decision to trample through private property. Furthermore, Amber is continually being charged with trespassing onto this private property and she will be held accountable for every person she brings with her on her horseback rides.
