My son attended this preschool for a single day through my company's backup care service. Being new to the environment, he was understandably unsettled. I was alarmed to witness a teacher disciplining him in the afternoon by isolating him on a bench because he was upset and had refused to wear his shoes. Rather than offering gentle guidance or comfort, staff members reportedly handled him roughly, placing him forcefully onto an iron bench while he was crying. My son later confirmed the teacher had been very angry with him about the shoe incident. Furthermore, I found the preschool environment to be disorganized and chaotic, with children of various ages intermingled and lacking clearly defined sections. Following this visit, my son contracted Influenza B and experienced severe symptoms. For these reasons, I strongly advise against using this preschool. read more

My child has been attending KinderCare since she was eight months old. At first, we were apprehensive about starting daycare at all, but our concerns quickly subsided after witnessing how much she thrives here. The staff here are highly professional. They're experts at taking care of kids. The caretakers in the infant room have helped not only my child, but me as a parent in understanding her development and setting expectations. The teachers are highly attentive, responsive, and loving. They've helped her adjust to the world and encourage her to explore, play, and be creative. It's also been a massive help that they facilitate a consistent nap schedule and solid foods routine. They care deeply about what they do and it's absolutely reflected in my child's demeanor and behavior at home. She's happy, curious, and much more sociable than her peers who don't attend daycare. She loves her teachers and feels safe with them -- she's beyond obsessed with the lovely Ms. Sharon! The facility is always clean and bustling with activity, and I can confidently drop my child off knowing that she'll have a day filled with meaningful and enriching experiences in the safe and loving care of her teachers. Honestly I love KinderCare and the majority of teachers there. However, after witnessing a specific teacher Ms Dani roughly grab by both arms, pink up, pull out of a chair and plop on to the floor a very young child I am reconsidering my options. I'm very disappointed and honestly don't know what my best move should be. these children in this particular class are young, some not yet walking and others just barely walking. I've brought my two children (boy 1) and (girl 3) to this Kindercare multiple times through my companies backup care. I'm happy to say I've never had a complaint, I felt my children were properly cared for and loved through the days they spent with these teachers. I understand it can be hard for children in a new environment with new people but, these teachers went above and beyond to make my children as comfortable as possible until I came to pick them up. The teachers were respectful to myself and my children and they were honest about them having a hard time and doing their best to adjust my children to their program. The app they use to update parents about their children is fantastic, everything my children did was documented and I received pictures showing them playing and having fun. I also called a few times just concerned and wanting to know if they were ok and every time the phone was picked up promptly and my concerns were eased. My daughter has been attending KinderCare in Mountain View since she was three months old. The director Ms. Brie and Ms. Ilyn were so welcoming and accommodating when I came in for a tour of the center. The teachers are all wonderful and treat my daughter like family. I love getting updates on what my daughter is doing throughout the day, I can see when she's napping, eating, playing with friends and get notifications of when she's running low on supplies. There are a lot of events for families and siblings to attend themed around the holidays. The teachers Ms. Sharon, Ms. Maria, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Jazmine, Ms. Amy are so nurturing and attentive to my daughter's needs. They always tell me about her progress, meeting milestones, and overall how her day went at pickup. I couldn't recommend this center enough, it's been such a blessing to having a community that truly loves and cares about children and their development. read more

Our daughter began her journey at KinderCare in Mountain View when she was 3 years old. She had an excellent experience for two years until she transitioned to her new kindergarten. The teachers were very patient and caring. She also participated in additional classes such as cooking, STEM, Spanish, and phonics. We also appreciated that this school was open most of the year, unlike many other preschools. The director, Ms. Brie, and the management were always very helpful and supportive, leading this preschool exceptionally well. My little one started going to Mountain View KinderCare when she was 4 months old. It was tough sending my baby that young to the daycare during the pandemic. However, we got excelente recommendation from a friend about Ms Gadheer and this center. Our experience has been great so far. We love both infant teachers, Ms Gadheer and Ms Teresa, they care a lot for the health and safety of all babies, and always keep us updated about our baby's development, sending us pictures, sharing her art work, etc. Ms Brie, the director of the center, is always very informative and help us to feel safe about the center and about all the covid precautions they have in place. Wonderful center! Our child has such a strong bond with her teachers across both age groups she has been in here. The staff and teachers at the Mountain View KinderCare have been wonderful! My daughter transferred to Mountain View from another KinderCare location and the teachers were great in the transition and made sure she felt comfortable and included. They offer a great Pre-K program and also offer additional programs to learn phonics, STEM, soccer, and Spanish! She is participates in all the activities and they keep her engaged and she loves talking about she's learned after school. I know she loves all her teachers because when we leave for the days she is always waving and hugging all her teachers. Our son has been at KinderCare for a year and a half, and will soon send our second baby there as well. The Mountain View KinderCare staff is loving, supportive and genuinely seems to care about our son and his development. Teacher David in particular has been a source of information, helpful suggestions for us through many stages and is beloved by our son. He always seems to go the extra mile for his kids. Since moving into the preschooler class, our son has also become fond of Ms. Marquela. She always greets him with a hug and keeps us updated on his successes and struggles. This review is for backup care only. I sent my child (15 months) there over the Christmas holiday and she adjusted very well immediately. She cried.the first two days for 5-10 mins and then settled into hanging out with the other kids and teacher. The team there was very professional and responsive. On the first day of drop off, I called a couple of hours later to see if baby was OK and they were nice to give me a status on my child. Each day before i picked up, I peaked inside the room to observe. My daughter was interacting with the teachers and very comfortable with them. Every night she waved good bye and thanked them with her hand gestures.. We are sending her to a Chinese family day care but if it were not for language skills, I definitely will consider Kindercare. My baby girl is now 6 months old and she's been at Mountain View Kindercare since she was 4 months old. It's such a great place! The care team is super knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. I'm so happy I found them. It's hard with all the mom guilt around leaving your baby in the care of others but I genuinely feel like she is with family when she is at Kindercare. My husband and I don't have family in the US so it means the world to us to have our baby at such a safe and warm environment when we're working. The real time updates, photos and videos are also super helpful. Genuinely recommend anyone with a baby to enroll them at Kindercare. read more

I felt like I should leave a review here, since a lot of these are pretty old and kinda gnarly. We just started Kindercare MTV a few weeks ago and love it!! My little dude is 9.5mo, so this is for the infant classroom. Ms. Kesha, Ms. Angela, and Ms. Ghadeer (apologies if I've horribly mangled the spelling) take excellent care of him and show me pics of all the fun he's having. I also have shown up early a couple of times and he's happily playing with other babies or being held, fed, or otherwise cared for. Brie, the center director, is freakishly nice, and incredibly organized. They just had an inspection in October and didn't have a single violation, and from what I've seen, it's a well run ship. Everything is clean, happy, and healthy. My baby has a perpetually runny nose (because babies!), but I've never seen a single booger coming down his face or dried on when I pick him up. That, alone, is a freaking Herculean task. They also err on the side of caution with regard to illness -- there was a suspected HFM outbreak and they preemptively sent our little guy home (granted, we could've left him, if we wanted to - but we really didn't want to mess with HFM potential), and a few other kids that had maybe caught it. We happen to go to the same pediatrician as one of the kids that was sent home, and our pediatrician commented that KinderCare was doing a great job staying on top of that. Thumbs up/seal of approval from my ped is a good sign for me! Before we got into KinderCare, we had a nanny watching our baby -- she only fed him 1-1.5oz of breastmilk during a 6-7-hr period of time and a few bites of food. She claimed he refused the bottle and wouldn't eat the food because he wasn't hungry/interested. At daycare, he's up to 15oz in the same time period, plus 2 4-oz jars/pouches of pureed solids, and some of whatever solid snacks they give the toddlers. So, clearly, they know what they're doing! And they had him "color" a pumpkin for us! Very happy with these ladies!! read more

My daughter was in KinderCare MTV for 11 months. We always had great support and attention from teachers, in particular I'd like to call out the amazing work from teachers below: Ms. Jocelyn,(infants) Ms Ghadeer (infants), Ms. Shelby (toddlers) and Mr Louis (Toddlers). Still, I had *constant* issues with how the school was managed: illegal teacher / baby ration (many times we saw the ratio between teacher and babies being higher than allowed, i.e. more than 4 babies per teacher in the infant class or more than 6 babies per teacher in the toddler class). Needless to say, teachers were always under stress due to lack of organization of the school. There was no communication to parents on 1.teacher's changing working times (i.e. infants teachers would always be asked to leave early because they didn't have the room full - even though all primary babies were in school), 2. rooms adjustments - my daughter kept moving rooms all the time disturbing nap times and routine, 3. lack of attention with hygiene (once a very dirty box was left in the infants room - school was under renovation- and I had to ask 3 times before if it got removed) and 4. temporary teachers that showed up out of the blue and disappeared on the same speed. The local school Director had clear 'solving problems' limitations, which lead to parents and teachers frustrated. Since she left on Dec/17, there was no official replacement (as of Jun/18). Again, the best value of this school are the amazing teachers. Because my daughter loved Ms. Jocelyn and Ms. Shelby both her primary teachers, I didn't want to go through the stress of moving her to new day care before she turned 18 months - but now I question myself if all this stress was worth it. read more

My son is in KinderCare MTV since he was 7 months old, Ms Angela, Ms Gadheer and Ms Kesha were lovely and took a good care of him. He is now in the toddler room and Ms Vee, Ms Noe, Ms Susan and Ms Zaida are awesome, they always have some new activity and my son really likes all of them. The center improve a lot since Ms. Brie started as a director. She made the center more welcome and nice and every time she organize some fun event or activity for everybody. read more

Our son (18mo) has been going to Kindercare since he was 8mo. We love all the teachers and the Directors Ms Brie and Ms Kim go out of their way to ensure that all the kids are happy, healthy and safe. When they reopened the center again post COVID restrictions we did not hesitate to send our son from Day 1 because of the measures and precautions they have in place. All the teachers wear a mask, temp checks at the time of arrival and no adults other than the staff allowed inside the premise. They have been very prompt and transparent in all their communication and have prioritized everyone's safety and health. Our son is positively engaged and he absolutely loves it. We highly recommend MV Kindercare and are so thankful for helping us a raise a happy kid! read more

We have had our son in the infant room for about eight months. We have had such a positive experience with this daycare center, and I have been meaning to write a review for a while because, as others have mentioned, many of these reviews are old and were written prior to the current management. Ms. Brie (the center director) is top-notch, super organized, friendly, and approachable. I have had several conversations with her about the nuances of my baby's sleep, eating, and activities and she always takes my concerns to heart and does her best to accommodate. Ms. Angela (my son's original primary caregiver) is sadly no longer at KinderCare, but Ms. Ghadeer is still there and she is fantastic and my baby is clearly happy and comfortable with her. Ms. Kesha in the infant room is enough of a reason to choose Mountain View KinderCare if you are looking for daycare for a baby. She is so above-and-beyond and exceptional with the babies and is an expert at engaging with them and nurturing them. My son absolutely adores her and it seems like all the toddlers that have "graduated" from the infant room love her just as much! This center also recently started using an app for updates throughout the day, so I typically get a few photos during the day and I can see when he has gotten diaper changes, food, sleep, and bottles. This was a big selling point for me when I was looking for a daycare. read more

Its been almost a year and my daughter has moved on to toddlers and is so happy. As soon as we get there she is running throught the doors so excited to see her friends and teachers. When its time to pick her up she never wants to leave. My other child is 4 months and getting ready to start in infants with the same great teacher Ms. Ghadeer. Ms. Ghadeer has gone above and beyond with my child. She has always kept me in the loops about my little one and things that she is doing great on and things that need work. We have had great interaction with all the infant teachers. Ms. Angela, Ms. Jocelyn and Ms. Michelle. I know my second child is in great hands. Now that we have been in toddlers....i can not believe the things my little one comes home and shares with us, nose, mouth, dog and my favorite I LOVE YOU! Ms. Shelby has been fabulous, you can truely see that see loves these kids. Mr. Louis and Ms. Bianca are also great. They love playing outside and i always get great pictures of drawings and fun little things they do. When i first started Ms. Jessica and Ms. Susy were always at the front to say Hi and Bye and to help me out with any questions or concerns i had. A few months ago Ms. Stefani started working here. Every morning she is there to say Good morning to me and all the other families dropping off their kids.I am not a morning person at all and she is always there to put a smile on my face, she is vibrant and full of life and knows when to offer a much needed hug. She has been a fabulous addition to the kindercare family. To All the staff here at kindercare. Ms. Brie and Ms. Natalie create such a welcoming and safe environment for the kids, and are always responsive to parents. Our kids have had incredible teachers throughout from Ms.Ghadeer to Ms. Susan to Teacher David to Ms. Erica and Ms. Rosely. The teachers have always been so passionate about their profession and so encouraging to our kids' interests and learning & development. My daughter has been going here since she was one year old. She started in the 1-2 classroom. Our daughter has now moved on to the 2-3 toddler/discovery preschool with Teacher David and Ms. Estella. She absolutely loves going to school and constantly raves about Teacher David. Every time we pick her up we get a daily report and learn what she did that day and how her day went. This also gives us an idea on what to work on with her at home. One of the big things we loved about teacher David early on was that he encouraged for us to bring underwear to school when our daughter was potty training. They did not shy away from helping us teach and help our daughter learn to go potty on her own. Our friends who also have kids in daycare/preschool were surprised because no other place did something similar. We are so impressed with our daughters progress since she has been in the discovery preschool, both teachers are very hands on and patient with the kids. You can tell the passion Teacher David has for teaching kids. It's really wonderful to know your child is learning from someone with such passion and enthusiasm. KinderCare has a mobile app as well which provides daily reports on meals, activities your child does throughout the day. And they post daily videos and photos of your chiLd playiNg with their friends and doing activities at school. Keep up the great work Teacher David and Ms. Estella. My daughter is currently in Discovery Preschool at KinderCare in Mountain View. She has been attending KinderCare for more than a year now. I cannot be happier with her progress and its all due to Teacher David and Ms. Estella. Both teachers are very hands on and patient with the kids, teaching them manners along with the monthly curriculum. We receive daily feedback which allows my husband and I to address any concerns that might come up. We work closely with the teachers on my daughter's developmental milestones. I signed up my 12 month old son to this daycare in mid summer. It is close to our house, they had availability and it seemed like a professional place. My son was happy and open to Kindercare. Why the low rating? In 4 short months, here was my experience NEGLECTFUL PLACE! (Weeks 1) 1. I got calls at least every 2-3 days about him getting serious injuries such as several busted lips, horrific bruises etc. The staff never know whats going on since no one ever claims to be watching when it happens. 2. BAD MANAGEMENT (Week 2 ) It took contacting their corporate office to find out that my child had no teacher assigned to him so he was being passed around. They incorrectly placed him in toddler room when he was too young so he was frequently injured. He wasnt assigned a teacher until week 2. 3. HIGH TURNOVER (end of week 1) Director quit during the first week we were there. At least one teacher quit and others were moved or disappeared to other rooms without anyone mentioning it to the parents. 4. VISITS FROM LICENSING (2nd month) During his second month, one of the teachers reported that someones child received the wrong breastmilk. There were notices on the board about a state investigation. 5. INCORRECT BILLING and FINANCIAL MISTAKES (3rd month) When the new director started, I (along with several parents) received incorrect statements where we were overbilled. Trying to get them to issue a real billing statement to dispute the inaccuracies was like pulling teeth. Totally unprofessional and rarely admit their mistakes. TIP: Get *everything* in writing. 6. FRIVOLOUS REPORTING of CHILD ABUSE (4th month/last month) Don't get on the director''s bad side otherwise they will look for any reason, even false ones to call CPS on you. I made the mistake of asking about my toddlers meal portions because I saw that his bowel movements were becoming inconsistent. The current director (Kathryn) misused information exchanged in an email I gave her to make a false report of child neglect due to 'underfeeding' to CPS. Kathryn was the LAST person I would suspect making false allegations, especially since anyone with common sense could look at my child is well taken care of and a bit chunky. This leads to my next point.. 7. INSINCERE and FORCED FRIENDLINESS I did not enjoy communicating with the director because everything about her felt fake. Remember, this woman actually sent CPS to my home while sporting a big counterfeit smile and artificial perkiness. Don't trust her with your kids, your money or your questons. They are only out to protect themselves and will go to extremes to avoid responsibility for just about everything. 8. STINGY ABOUT FOOD Breakfast is at 8, lunch at 11:30 and after that its snackville until 6pm. My son loves to eat and they never have enough so I asked them to give him more. The teacher then asked me to provide food for the afternoon because they only have 'light' snacks like cheerios . They are responsible for feeding the kids between 7:30am - 6pm and despite the $1900 price, you will be asked to bring in food since they dont have enough. Where is the money going? CONCLUSION In only 4 months, I personally witnessed a lot of 'drama' at this center. The fact that my son had a great connection to his teacher was the main reason I kept him there for this long. However the director does not understand the seriousness of making a false CPS call. I strongly do not recommend this center. read more

My son attended this preschool for about 6 months part time. I wish I had taken him out sooner. In the first 2 months he was bit 3 times (in the 3/4 year old class!). He was bullied especially by the lifer kids. When we brought this to the attention of the teachers they flat out denied it, and basically said the problem was with my son. However they must have thought there was a problem since they notified all the other parents to tell their children to stop bullying behavior! I appreciate honesty, and that's not what we found here. Other concerns: very expensive (I think this is the reason they usually have an opening), "creative staffing" I didn't appreciate the fact they would immediately start sending staff home if the census changed : I paid for the full day, I don't get a discount if my son leaves early. So why should you short staff to save the center a few dollars? This just sets the children up for a chaotic and potentially dangerous situation. Often the teachers at the end of the day had no idea what had gone all day because of this staff shifting. If I asked how his day was, I would get a response "I'm not sure" or "they said he ate well". Great. I'm glad I paid you $100 a day for this insight. The outdoor equipment is old and worn somethings are broken. I could go on, but in conclusion: parents do thorough research before selecting a daycare or preschool. read more

2015 review: DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! Complete disaster! Within the last 3 months 4 of the good teachers quit and director and manager have quit due to how this corporation has not only treated the staff poorly but also how the kids are neglected. They only care about money. The staff is so frustrated because they see all these problems but the corporation is NOT willing make changes or do ANYTHING that cost a penny to improve things here. My child started here as an infant. By law they were required to provide a 4 to 1 kids to teacher ratio. That is the ONLY reason Kindercare provide a 4 to 1 ratio. If not required by law they would NOT be doing that. I know this because as soon as my child turned 2 they moved her up to the toddler class and the ratio goes as high as 18 to 1! Surprise they are no longer required to meet any ratio requirements. NOT an exaggeration, I actually counted during one of my drop off in the morning and there was literally 18 kids running around with 1 teacher who was trying to manage multiple poops and crying kids. You can totally see it on her face, she was so overwhelmed. Not only does the ratio go from 4:1 to 18:1 (they told us up to 14:1) once she turns 2, you now get the privilege of paying only 10% less for the honor. Don't even get me started on the food. I never paid attention when she was younger since we brought food from home. Once she turned 2 we let her eat their food so I stopped by once to see what they ate. OMG, I kid you not, they were giving canned food! The teachers are so overwhelmed that they had no idea if the kids ate anything or not. If you just want your kid to be in a room full of kids and have no structure or any sort of learning with low quality food and have the privilege of paying almost $2k for it then Kindercare is the place for you. If you're a caring parent and care about your child and their development, for the love of God DO NOT send your child here! Do some real research and go tour other places, you'll have WAY better care elsewhere and usually for less money too! read more

Our little one started at Mountain View Kindercare at 11 months, and we have loved every moment of it. Ms. Dani (Danielle) and Ms Teresa were his first teachers and he flourished in their care. They were always so loving, encouraging and engaging that my little guy would refuse to come home at the end of the day. Their genuine care and concern for every child's well-being and willingness to understand and entertain their unique personalities makes them absolute gems. Mr. David and Ms. Rose have been absolutely superb in teaching my kid various concepts and making sure to incorporate it into regular aspects of his day, such that he learns effortlessly. Mr. David has been a great source of information when I needed creative ideas about encouraging certain habits like regular hand-washing & to start toilet-training. He shared so many sources, and even offered to make some custom charts to help us out. Such an exemplary teacher! Ms. Brie has been nothing short of amazing. She's always so kind, engaging and goes out of her way to ensure that the kids are happy and safe. She's always ahead of the game when it comes to providing information and guidance to make sure the parents are well-informed. We've always felt like our little one was in such great hands. Our little guy is so happy, engaged and positively curious. As parents, we couldn't ask for a better and loving environment for our little one. We highly recommend Mountain View Kindercare and the excellent teachers here, and very grateful to them for helping us raise a wonderful and happy child. read more

I scheduled an appointment to tour the center when I was nearing the end of my maternity leave in November 2006. My husband took some time off of work in the middle of the day so that he could check out the center with me as well. When we got there, a woman told us to wait while she got the director - Katie Santos. We took about 2 steps into the center and waited patiently only to have her come back and tell us that the director was busy and couldn't give us a tour that day. It seemed very unprofessional to blow us off even though we had an appointment. We made the decision right then and there that the Mountain View Kindercare was NOT going to be daycare we enrolled our child in. We ended up enrolling him at the Santa Clara Kindercare. We were really happy with them, up until a month ago when Katie Santos transferred there. EEK! We were not happy at all to find out that this director was now at the place that we loved. A lot of teachers have left since Katie started. I don't have proof that she is the reason that they're leaving; I can only guess. read more

My daughter has attended the Mountain View KinderCare since she was 5 months old (she's 13 months) and I can honestly say that I couldn't have chosen a better daycare for her. All of the teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming. The first couple of weeks were really difficult on me, and the staff treated me like family from the first drop off. My daughter absolutely loves her class, her teachers and her friends. They are so good at communicating, providing suggestions, sending photos of activities, and they treat my daughter as if she were their own child. I really appreciate all of the activities they do. They send home art, photos of my daughter making the art, they have photographers take awesome photos at different times during the year, have family fun days, etc. This KinderCare offers it all! read more

We went to this place today - and i am still in shock with what I saw there. We were taken to the play area , (BTW - It is sunny today) - the teachers were standing under the shade , gathered together , while the kids were playing , without a close supervision. There was a kid , stuffing his mouth with mud , coughing because of it, but still stuffing - and there was no teacher paying attention to him.He had mud/dirt all over near his mouth. I highlighted it to the teacher giving us the tour - she picked the kid , took him to another teacher , did not even bother giving him some water , or cleaning his face with water - instead she was asking him "do you like dirt? " - and that's it ! Really ??? I think that child needed attention , maybe he has some deficiency and that's why he was eating mud like food (FYI : Kindercare provides food , so are they to blame ? ) I am still so sad about it - this profession needs extra compassion - which unfortunately teachers at kindercare are not able to give. read more

This was our son's first daycare, from before he could crawl til he was walking and climbing. Kathryn, the center's director, seems like she was born to run this place. We were impressed that she knew all the kids' names (it's a pretty good-sized daycare center), and she even had her daughter enrolled in daycare with our son. Miss Sydnie was the best teacher at the center. Words can hardly describe how great she was, and how highly we think of her!! We really appreciated the little things: like when they'd randomly send home a photo they took during the day, or some fingerpaint artwork he did, or little gifts for Mother's Day, etc. My wife thinks that this place helped our son develop faster than if we had kept him at home with us all the time. Not that there's any way to prove it, but we were very happy with this place nonetheless. Yes, it is pretty pricey, but it's equal to or cheaper than all comparable daycares around Mtn View and Palo Alto. Also, you can pay online with your credit card (Discover only), so at least you can get some credit card reward points for the thousands you'll spend on daycare... The bottom line was we needed a reliable daycare close to work and home, and this place worked out fantastically! read more

This place is clearly a money hungry corporation who gives a hoot about the children they "take care of". The children in the infant room are beyond neglected. Children are falling and crying all over the place and no one does anything about it. Everytime I pick up my child she has dry boogers on her eyelids, hair, and all over her mouth!! On her first week of attendance, she contracted pink eye, a cold, and now a horrible cough. No one voiced any concerns about symptoms they might have noticed. As all the other moms would do, I did a lot of search to find a good daycare not too far from my daily route between work and home. I visited many places and read all the reviews. And, yes, the bad review of this place made me hesitate. However, I decided to believe my first impression I got during my visit. How glad I am I did! The new director, Ms. Kathryn Collins, and the assistant director Ms. Marquela, are very friendly and extremely helpful. All the teachers in the infant room are loving and caring so my daughter always seemed very happy to be there. The toys and blankets are well sanitized, there are a lot of space for the crawlers to explore, the feeding & nap schedule is well recorded, .. I can go on and list all the things that a typical mom would care, but rather I would just say that I never had any complaint about this place or the people working here. Do not let the old reviews make you hesitate. Visit and see for yourself. You will be glad as I was. :) read more

Infant room A is a great and fun place for my child to spend her day while I'm at work. Miss Jocelyn, ghadeer and Angela are great teachers who care for the children as if they where their own. Their professionalism is top notch. My child is flourishing into a strong, independent social butterfly. Special recognition goes to Miss Jocelyn who is very attentive to my child's needs. As my child's primary teacher I am confident that my child is in good hands when I am away from her. Kindercare is lucky to have a person like Miss Jocelyn. read more

My daughter has been attending Mt. View Kindercare since she was five months old. She's now 20 mos. old and has moved up to her third room with the toddlers! They were already great before the pandemic hit but now they have seriously stepped up to meet this challenging year! Not only have they closed to center to all non-workers (meaning no one comes in or out that isn't a childcare professional or a child), they also take every child's temperature before they can enter, ask the questions concerning illness or contact with anyone with covid-19 and they also make sure the parents wait at least six feet apart or in their cars for pick up or drop off (one parent for pick up and drop off). They also clean the center daily and take temps for all the kids all day long. And of course the teachers wear mask. While I know it's a personal choice whether to take your kid to a daycare center during this time, my child hasn't been sick in six months since they started this routine. And without their center our jobs would be quite difficult with a kiddo running around at home. Beyond the safety measures they've taken, the teachers are so good. My child knows so much and I know she wouldn't be as well adjusted and be as advanced if she weren't attending here. She literally runs to them when I drop her off because she is so excited (I mean they had a summer camp that toddlers can participate in and have just as much fun as the older kids with fun themed days!). Anyway, I love this place. I'm not paid to write this and I spend almost two hrs driving back and forth everyday so my kid can keep going here while I WFH. read more

This was our daughter's first daycare when she was 15 months old and just came from Spain, it was a hard situation for us, but thanks to Ms. Emilie the situation got easy and smooth. Ms. Emilie took care of my daughter for 9 months and helped us during transition to the next class. And now she moves to the infant room and is taking care of my 10 months old boy, we love her and her way of working with kids. At Kinder Care Mountain View we had 3 complicate months where 4 of the good teachers quit and director and manager had also quit, but now they have really nice staff and they are always trying to improve. We are happy with this place, although it is pretty pricey, but it's equal to or cheaper than all comparable daycares around Mountain View and Palo Alto. read more

We love Mountain View Kindercare! Our daughter has been attending Mountain View Kindercare since August 2019. She was currently enrolled when COVID 2020 hit. I was impressed with how professional they were about the entire situation. The center immediately gave us proper notice of the center closing, stopped charging tuition and gave a refund for the entire week even though she attended the center for 1 day that week. They consistently kept us updated throughout COVID and when they were planning to reopen. The center emailed all families making them aware of their reopen date (May 18, 2020) and asked if and when families would like to return to the center. Our daughter was over the moon to return to the center. She was so bored at home with mommy and daddy on Zoom calls throughout the day. She loves her teachers and all her friends. The center has just started their summer program in June with exciting activities and weekly themes. I am a teacher and still unable to recreate the same environment for my daughter at home. I highly recommend Mountain View Kindercare to any parent. I love the procedures the center has put in place to guarantee my child's safety. All children are dropped off at the door (parents are not allowed in the center) and all children and teacher's temperature is checked at arrive and departure as well as throughout the day. All items have to arrive in a zip lock bag and taken home daily to be washed. The center is very cautious about making sure health and safety is first priority and cleaning is done consistently throughout the day. Overall very impressed with the procedures and routines put in place to make sure my child's health and safety is their #1 concern. FYI: The center has been open for about 7 weeks with NO confirmed cases in the center or with families from the center. :) read more

I enrolled my daughter at KinderCare Mountain View when she was 2 months old and they were fantastic with her. It was very difficult for me to leave her at such an early age, but Ms Ghadeer really went the extra mile to make sure that my daughter made the transition smoothly and it has made all the difference. Everyone at the center has been extremely helpful and pleasant. They were very accommodating to my daughter's special dietary needs and they have always been willing to chat with me at any time about her development or to let me know about some of the cute things she had done during the day! They also send lots of great pictures, which I have shared with my sisters through their app. I really feel like she has a "second family" at KinderCare! read more
