I more or less stumbled on Mountain View Optometry at their Calgary Crowfoot location when deciding to find a new eye doctor in the area. They were able to give me an appointment that day. Dr. Michele was excellent, explaining the pictures she took with new equipment I had not seen before. I have since started going to the Cochrane location as it is closer to home. I can't say enough about the staff at both locations as they have been so good. I can honestly say that after such a short time and just a few visits the staff all know me by name and treat me like a friend more so than a customer - not the case after 30 some years of going to the same Dr. in Edmonton. The follow up, concern and level of service is rarely seen these days! I have recommended them to others who are now seeing these folks and all have had the same experiences. I have been a client here for 8 years - 8 wonderful eye care years! My parents had AMD and I like to keep on top of it with my own eyes. The Staff and DRs respect my concerns, offering updates and possible preventative measures. Grateful am I. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Wilk provides the most thorough eye examination possible and I have great confidence in him. I used to go to one of the big chains, but switched for good after receiving a new pair of glasses from Mountainview. They offered me the best correction I have ever had in glasses, and the staff were very helpful in assisting me to find frames I could be proud to wear. This place has the most amazing service. All the staff is friendly and warm, and we are treated like family. Exams are thorough and complete. I fell totally safe and welcome in this place. New prescriptions are very challenging for me to adapt to and it was something I preferred to avoid. Dr. Tom Wilk put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the testing process and the new technology in their offices. After receiving my new lenses I did experience some issues. Rather than looking at this as a problem, Dr. Wilk and his knowledgable staff, Kaila and Ed, willingly worked with me to find the right solution. Thank you Dr. Wilk, and thank you to Kaila and Ed for all of your help and expertise, but above all, your kindness :) I really appreciated the time that was spent with me. I would highly recommend Mountain View Optometry as they are knowledgeable, professional and have a genuine concern for their client's satisfaction.
