Dr. Michele was excellent, explaining the pictures she took with new equipment I had not seen before. I have since started going to the Cochrane location as it is closer to home. I can't say enough about the staff at both locations as they have been so good. I can honestly say that after such a short time and just a few visits the staff all know me by name and treat me like a friend more so than a customer - not the case after 30 some years of going to the same Dr. in Edmonton. The follow up, concern and level of service is rarely seen these days! I have recommended them to others who are now seeing these folks and all have had the same experiences. I had an eye exam with Dr. Karen Dieu (who, by the way is superb... will be recommending my nephew and sister to her for sure). Not only did she take the time to help me find a better more comfortable contact lens option compared to the monthlies which make me feel like ripping my eyes out, she also gave me more options to tackle my dry eye and allergy issues. Their front desk staff/sales associates were able to help me get a clear idea of lens selection (my vision sucks at night but this antiglare coating they gave is amazing). Also, I was thankful because all the staff members including the doctor threw in their insights on frame selection....I HATE GLASSES SHOPPING (its like buying jeans ahh). They carry affordable options, like Vogue, and designer frames, like D&G. Their selection wasn't too impressive, they had mostly black and brown frames. They charge $80 for an eye exam. Lenses start around $95 and up. I would return to Pearle Vision for cheap options when it comes to eye wear. The service was friendly. It wouldn't be my first recommendation though.

Was a patient of one the owner/optometrists at this place for several checkups (at approximately…read more1.5 minutes per visit) at his directive for a condition he called MGD meibomian gland dysfunction. He kept selling me expensive drops from his shop visit and told me it wasn't improving, to make another appointment in two weeks. His arrogant attitude was way over the top. Eventually I stop the sessions and booked with another optometrist who informed that all I needed to do was solve my issue was use warm water compress on my eyes a couple of times a day. After only a few months my condition had returned to normal. I purchased at least one pair of new glasses from this place but there seemed to be a continual intimidation tactic to buy more. Very happy I made a break from this place.
