It was him pushing higher copays.This annoyed him and he refused to treat me that day. He said he was no longer familiar with my back and he couldn't treat me. What if I'd been brand new and he'd never seen me? He couldn't treat me? I call this abandonment of care. He also at another appointment wanted to inject my forehead with Botox that would cost $900 that insurance would not cover and I'd need every 3 weeks. To relieve my pain all I needed was an adjustment. He talked me into Xyrem which gave me a psychotic episode I googled later and the first side effect said may cause death. It was obvious he no longer wanted me as a patient. He considers himself a Christian but he has too many children he's trying to support I'm afraid so he's pushing drugs he gets a kick back on and then the expensive Botox treatment. He's definitely changed from the caring doctor I was seeing in his early days. I'm sorry to say.

Before my treatment, one small tweak would quickly spiral out of control and at times be severe and debilitating. I've been carried out of vehicles, crawled up stairs, spent countless sleepless nights laying flat on a hard wood floor because even breathing would hurt. A sneeze could make me cry. My entire life was controlled by pain - or stressing out about when the next bad episode would hit. After multiple doctors, numerous scripts for pain killers, 4 MRIS, nerve testing, a pricey meeting with a spine specialist at a very prestigious hospital, and a 15 year timeline -- I learned "nothing is wrong with you" or "it's in your head." And left feeling helpless and slightly crazy. I met Dr. Hall in November of 2017. On our first meeting and overview exam, we reviewed my xrays. I'll never forget the moment when he pointed to the image and said "yep, right here - there's the smoking gun." Wait... really? How could he have figured this out so quickly. He explained that my right hip was 1.5 inches out of line with my left. Then showed me the "timeline" of issues up my spine caused from years of misalignment. We talked about my stiff straight neck - what caused it what's making it worse - and the negative effects I'm experiencing from this. My "carpel tunnel" is most likely not carpel tunnel all. Most of my sinus headaches, he explained, were likely caused from the lack of curvature and neck compression. Everything he said to me in his diagnosis was backed up with simple, clear, facts and evidence. It all made so much sense to me. It was the first time I finished a conversation about my issues pain feeling hopeful, rather than frustrated. For the first time in over 15 years, I'm confident that my joint issues are solved and I feel completely in control of my body. I am again able to choose my level of activity and challenge myself, rather than letting my pain dictate what I am able to do and when. Im able to enjoy skiing three days in a row without fear of an episode that would ruin my day. I confidently enjoy hikes more challenging than i ever would have attempted before. I am proud to call myself a "runner" once again and enjoy frequent runs with my husky, Samson. Prior to meeting doctor hall I had decided my running days were over (despite it being my favorite and most mind-clearing activity). Yoga is once again a part of my life and I'm so grateful for how "right" my body feels. Today, if I ever trip hiking, slip on ice or fall skiing, I don't dread whats to come. Because even if I experience a minor fall or bump -- the after pain (if any at all) is so minimal. AND the best part is -- I'm now fully capable of making pain go away simply and quickly (with a set of exercises he gave me for on going maintenance). Armed with these tools, I get back on my feet and on with life comfortably -- all within the same day. I could never put into words how empowered that makes me feel. Yet, even saying he 'changed my life' is still too simple to fully capture the impact he's made. The new me enjoys an overall improved well being, which in turn, has also positively impacted those closest to me (some who have never known me without my main issues of back pain, carpel tunnel, and intense headaches.) But wait, there's more. Dr Halls impact, quality of care, and compassion stretches even further. I spoke to him about my father who lives in another state, but was someone I assumed could benefit from chiropractic. Dr Hall gave me detailed advice, and even called around my hometown area looking for a chiropractor that would be a good fit for my fathers very precise and sensitive needs. His willingness to help my father (a patient he'd never actually see) is a true reflection of his character, passion and confidence in his field.

Flowers were a surprise as level 1 trauma centers do not allow them for sanitation reasons... but sure would be convenient to give to family/friends. Overall a great place to get care in Louisville and surrounding area.
