On 11/14/2024 I went into The Joint Chiropractic and physically filled out the cancel form in person and handed it back. I have a copy of that transaction. Now, on 11/20/2024 I get a response saying that they have no record of my cancellation. If this doesn't convince anyone about how hard it is to cancel and that you will end up disputing charges, I don't know what will. Wish we could give negative reviews as one star seems to be too much. They don't answer the phone either, forcing you to leave messages that never get returned or acknowledged. I just went into this facility to get a manipulation after most likely having slept wrong over night. I went in attempted to sign in with the key tag barcode the person at the counter exclaimed: "we dot have gave those". mind you the purpose is to link you to your account. Anyway while waiting to be seen. the person from the counter comes and says before you can be see, , you need to sign your annual documents. my reply was I just did those in December in Colorado Spribg in December 2025. She went back to her computer then came back: "I don't see those having being done since March last year. I again said; I just did those in December last year. I wet back to my car t sure I had multiple recent visit. then she stated I don't see that, unless you resign this I can't let you be seen. no concern if I was in pain and need to be cared for. mind you they did not stop charging my credit card because the documents needed updating. so I just turned around walked out and began to wright this review. We can fight back to this we will take you money but not provide service. read more

The actual services are average at best, the difference in quality between one adjuster and the next can vary greatly. More importantly though, if you leave or cancel, MAKE SURE THEY REMOVE YOUR CARD ON FILE!!!!!! I canceled in October but they kept charging me in Noveber and December, Took a month to get the November refund, and still waiting on a December 1st refund, 45 DAYS LATER!! The Joint Thornton fraudulently signed me up for a Flex Plan and have been charging $20.00 a month. When I contacted them about the fraud, they offered to refund only half of the amount stolen. I've been going to The Joint for a couple of months now and my experience has been great. I've had severe back problems starting in 2018 and it's been an on and off issue since then. I signed up for their monthly plan and I've been getting adjusted by both Dr. Rebecca and Dr. Mackey. They've both been super awesome and providing me tips and tricks to do at home. My husband signed up to try a chiropractor He started beginning of the year so early January. Wasn't a fan. We were charged for a monthly thing beginning of February. He called and canceled. They said they couldn't refund but would honor the visits. He never went back. Well it wasn't canceled, we were charged again beginning of March. This time he went in person, they said they again can't refund but would honor visits. I guess the original contract was 2 months. But okay this was the 3rd. Learn how to count. read more

First time visit it went pretty well the doctor was friendly but my issue was the lady at the front desk. She was very nice but extremely pushy after I told her I was going to hold off on signing up for the monthly plan she still handed me the iPad to sign up for the plan and after telling her again that I needed to talk to my husband about it still continued to try and get me to sign up today for the plan. Some locations are good, this one is horrible. The worst part is at the end. Walked in and the front desk lady looked like she wanted nothing to do with me. Sent me back. Chiropractor asked if anything had changed since the last time, this was my first time at this location and he didn't ask any other questions about anything. Did 2 super quick adjustments to neck and back and sent me on my way. This is definitely just a temporary thing, doesn't solve any problem. The worst part, was when I finished and went back up to the front desk. The lady said "I noticed you've been here twice in the last month, would you like to sign up for the plan?" I said no thank you, and reached out with my card. Then she continued "well this plan actually......" I said nope I want to pay the $45 one time please. After that, she continued and said "okay well I will give you this information about the plan" I said nope I don't need it thanks. I handed her my card again and she said "looks like it charged the card we have on file" and I said "can you please use this car?" And she looked panicked and said no. I asked her why she used the card on file when I was handing her my card, (she had never asked if it was okay to use that card). She just said "I can put that card on file if you would like for your next visit". At that point I left. I just had the worst experience here. Doctor John made me feel completely unsafe and like I was an idiot for coming in the first place. He seemed scared to attempt to put my rib back into place, which is a common chiropractic adjustment. He basically shamed me for not going to my regular chiropractor (hello... people go to the joint because they're convenient, cheap, and have long hours). He said he "didn't want to hurt me." Why would a doctor say that to a patient?? Completely unprofessional. He kept asking me irrelevant questions that seemed an attempt to stall treatment because he was unsure of himself. It was clear he wasn't confident in his job, which is just not okay for a chiropractor. I question his ability to treat people and so should management. He basically told me to leave, which I was happy to do by that point. Never going here again. read more

No consistency, you find a good doc and the turn over is so high, you lose the good doc. Went in hoping To see the only doc there that ever listened to me or cared, there was always a line of people waiting to see him. He's gone and I was "treated" by somebody who was highly aggressive, uncaring, talked wayyyyy too much and did not give me any relief. I had to tell him what to do or he was goI have to send me home with "well nothing is moving today" I was in so much pain, I asked him to be gentle and he told me to "relax"!!!!!????? all the good doctors leave because The Joint is for cattle. read more

I went to this location just last week with shoulder issues. Was told to move my arm in maybe 3 positions and asked if any pain. (Keep in mind I'm wearing a hoodie) shoulder was never seen. She told me my shoulder was fine and just do a couple stretches. She didn't adjust anything. WORST experience I've had at any chiropractor. They should have a negative star read more

This place is decent, and the adjustments are usually good. Obviously, it's a bit tough to predict, when the doctors rotate almost daily. However, most of them are pretty decent. The biggest complaint I have, is that it's simply an adjust with no electric stimulation, or mechanized tables to loosen you up prior to being adjusted. It's a bit like rough sex with no foreplay. But, for $19 it's better than being out of whack, and in pain. Obviously I'd prefer a full service doc, with all of the pre adjustment therapy devices... But those guys are 2-4x as much per visit. For the money, it's tough to beat. But still, a pretty solid example of "you get what you pay for". Good for the money, but would not be my first choice if money was no object. read more

I have to say Doctor Dan was amazing! My wife get migraines frequently. We went to in yesterday to see if getting adjusted will ease them. I explained to him on how my wife was extremely nervous! UPDATE: I was charged another $39 without my consent. No one has followed up with me regarding my complaint, and they obviously didn't "cancel" the plan that I have been charged for but never consented to. We have the membership. And we get 4 adjustments every month (billing cycle). We have been coming here for about a month. And i already feel a difference in my spine. It takes about 15 minutes for an adjustment and it is walk in. Sunday they are closed. read more

I expressed my pain and discomfort and was told they couldn't see me with well over 40 minutes left in their day. I never seen a place so unprofessional and misleading as The Joint. I was told the first visit would be $29 and then $69 a month if I wanted to continue going. So I paid the $29 for first visit and went back for another month and paid the $69. I was never told it was a contract or ever remember signing a contract. I didn't realize until five months later they were charging $69 a month on my medical flex spending card. I called them immediately and the front desk was very rude saying that it was a contract. I asked to see it and they said they couldn't access it on the computer nor would I get a refund. I continued to argue with the front desk and she said she would "look into" getting me a refund and would call me in a few days. Waited over a week with no call. Called again and was told they would get back to me. Two weeks later I had to call again and was told I would not be getting a refund. Not once in those five months did I ever receive a curtesy call saying "you haven't been in" but you can bet if someone misses a payment they wouldn't forget to call you. Extremely unhappy with The Joint and it looks like I'm not the only one. They are very unprofessional and deceptive and I will be contacting the BBB and disputing those charges with my flex account. read more
