We stopped in at the Imnaha Store and Tavern for a couple rounds of pool and Breakfast. Amy was the only staff on duty, greeted us with all smiles, Coffee (a little strong) then took our breakfast order. Becky chose the Western Omelet with homemade Salsa. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. After a a couple games of pool, (Becky won both), our breakfast was served. Amazing portions, Chicken Fried Steak was Crispy, Gravy was homemade , (no canned Gravy here), (2) Eggs over easy, (2) crispy Hash Brown Patties. But apparently, that's hard for some people (like poor Lou in this comment section with 13 PEOPLE - like maybe go have a cookout at someone's house with a fat group like that on a Saturday in a small town?!!). Point being, any restaurant could struggle with that size of groups under those conditions. Anyway, this place made the BEST BLT I've ever had. It's melt in your mouth pork belly, fresh heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, aioli, golden brown bread...just a perfect chefs kiss. It was like smoked soul food. Also, my husband loved his burger with prime rib slices on top. They sure know how to do their meats! And our bar drinks were made deliciously. We aren't locals and we've lived in big cities. So believe me when I say, we really felt happy with the food, service and decor. The staff seems to work really hard and seem like good people - they deserve respect! The coffee is roasted in a cute little shop in a food truck square nearby. The girls at the window were amazing. Also, there is also the Blue Tick Acai in this same location. The bowls are HUGE and quite frankly, everything you could ever hope for. Cold on a hot day, loaded with fruit, and piled high with toppings. The gal working was the sweetest and gave us plenty of bananas for our spoiled pup too! I cannot tell you enough how great this place is. You'll just have to try it for yourself.

My experience after purchasing a black coffee was that they didn't have any but could brew me a…read morecup. Great! Traveling down the road the coffee cup collapsed and coffee went all over me and the car. I fortunately was able to pull over immediately and get my shirt off and clean up what I could on me and in the car. When I looked at what was left in the partially crumpled cup it looked like sludge. Had I not been so far down the road I would have gone back and asked why the coffee looked like sludge. I'm very careful picking up any paper cup with coffee but this one was definitely defective. I'll just say my real concern is coffee sludge! What the hell is it. Do to traveling I did not get to clean myself off very well and developed a nasty rash which I am just getting over now maybe 12 days later. Can't prove the coffee sludge caused it but it is certainly suspect.
