If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more My husband took his 2017 Dodge Charger to Snider Transmission in January 2026 to have the fuel pump replaced. We paid for the repair believing it would be done correctly, and we were told it came with a warranty. Six months later, the car started shutting off again. Since it was supposedly covered under warranty, he took it back to Snider. Less than a week after getting it back, the car started leaking gasoline. He called the shop immediately, and it took three days just to get a callback. Their solution? Tell him it needed a gasket and quote him $1,100. After already paying them to fix the fuel pump, they expected us to hand over even more money. Thankfully, my husband decided to get a second opinion. He took the car to Speedy's in Pasadena, and they called him the same day. They told him the fuel pump that had been installed appeared to be either the wrong part for the vehicle or not an appropriate replacement. They fixed the problem for $400, and the car has been running properly ever since. My husband is a disabled veteran with three children at home. We depend on that vehicle every single day. Instead of standing behind their work, Snider cost our family time, money, and unnecessary stress. The most unbelievable part was the way they handled it afterward. When my husband went back to explain what another shop had found, the manager's response was, "That's a Mike problem." Seriously? That's your response after a customer comes back because your repair failed? No accountability. No apology. No concern. Just finger-pointing and excuses. The lack of professionalism is honestly shocking. A warranty means nothing if you're just going to dodge responsibility when something goes wrong. We expected integrity. Instead, we got poor communication, questionable workmanship, and customer service that was downright disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion before trusting this shop with your vehicle. We certainly wish we had.

Plano, Tx AAMCO. Took my van in on May 23rd 2020, David called me the next day (Saturday) and we…read morediscussed the issues I was having. Due to COVID19 dropoff contact was minimal. I have never gotten an update on what is wrong with my van. Yes, something is wrong with the transmission... but what? Absolutely the worst communication with a car repair shop that I've ever experienced. I posted my call log and txt mssg history as proof. June 10th (date of this review) I called to get an update. Was told to hold, was disconnected, and was ultimately told they'd call me back. I said I was coming to get it and take it someplace else and was told I couldn't. Then I was advised that the transmission has been taken to a different shop because they didn't have a mechanic there. "TRANSMISSIONS" is part of their name, I wasn't told they didn't have a mechanic there that could rebuild a transmission. I feel that both David and Raheem strung me along for the past 3 weeks.... both had said it would be done "Wednesday"... three Wednesdays later and I STILL don't have my van or even know for sure what failed with the transmission. I'm furious and I don't appreciate the hostility that David projected on to me when I asked for answers. As it stands, they'll call me Friday.‍‍‍‍

Very disappointed not sure if that was said so I could just leave because they were busy as well or if it was to take advantage of the fact that I am a female. Went somewhere else got treated so much better.
