We got the Sushi Combo 18 pieces ($16.99), and Chicken Karaage ($8) and got the Chicken Katsu Bento Box for free! I requested no sesame seeds on any of the food and they were able to accommodate 100%. Even the japchae in the Bento box had no sesame seeds. I was thrilled because many places make the japchae in a huge batch and premix the sesame seeds in. I'm glad this place just sprinkles the sesame seeds on top so I was able to have sesame seed-less japchae ;) The sushi combo was all Maki rolls, which I love. It's chef's choice, and I got 5 salmon Futomaki (raw salmon, cucumber, avocado, crunchy tempura bits and masago), 5 tuna Futomaki (raw tuna, cucumber, avocado, crunchy tempura bits, and surimi crab mixed with mayo), 4 torpedo shrimp with cucumber maki and 4 surimi crab, avocado and tamago (omelet) maki. They were all delicious. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. The Chicken Karaage were big pieces and were a mix of white and dark meat. No gristley pieces, all lean meats :) They weren't too greasy and tasted great dipped in the spicy mayo. The Chicken Katsu Bento Box was particularly tasty because it was free, lol. It was lean chicken breast breaded and deep-fried. It was crispy and delicious. It came on a bed of rice. It came with a small salad of mixed greens (like a real mesclun mix, not cheapy iceberg lettuce) with corn, cucumber and edamame with a creamy dressing. It also came with japchae, like I previously mentioned. It was a simple japchae with just the sweet potato noodles and some shiitake mushrooms, but it was good. And the Bento Box also had 4 Maki. Two of each that were like the ones in my sushi combo (torpedo shrimp and cucumbers, and surimi crab, avocado and tamago). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There are a few tables to dine in, but it's mostly a takeout place. Decor is minimal, it's more utilitarian. Also, as far as the poke bowls go, each piece of fish is not the same size, meaning that they likely cut each piece fresh every time. As for their rolls, they are delicious. Perfectly shaped and cut, they all come with delicious dipping sauces. Overall, very satisfied with this place and will be ordering again in the future!
