Poke bowl with Tuna and Salmon
    Jess M.

Very impressed and really enjoyed this meal! I am more of a sushi person than Poke Bowls but this was super yummy. The ratio of everything was on point- rice, veggies, fish, sauce and seasonings. The portion is fair, leaving you satisfied but not over stuffed. Quality was great. I have had these bowls in the past from other restaurants and they would give too much of salad or rice but this was well balanced!

Tried this restaurant for the first time last summer and I fell in love with their pokes at first try! Ever since then I've been getting their signature poke called "Omao Omao". The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were also so nice to let me substitute some ingredients with mango to fit to my taste! The only thing I would change is the portion to be a bit bigger.

I randomly found this restaurant by doing a quick Google search around me area. I hadn't heard of it before and saw the amazing reviews so I quickly called and ordered for pick up. I ordered two signature poke bowls ; Omao omao and Amelika. They both were amazing. The Omao bowl had a brown rice base with mixed greens, marinated tuna and salmon and topped with ponzu and Teri-unagi sauce. The Amelika bowl comes with white rice, shredded pickled papaya and carrots, cucumber, fried onion and peanuts topped with a lemongrass sauce. It was similar tasting to a Thai papaya salad but with all the extra yummy ingredients and fresh fish. They were both very unique and I am already thinking of coming back to try more. My only complaint would be that the bowl is a bit small for the price - I also have a big appetite

As a resident of Hawaii I was surprised how unfriendly it was with no spirit of aloha

The ice cream was incredible! Personally, I am a matcha fan, anything with matcha wins my heart!…read moreThe ice cream was very smooth, creamy and rich in matcha flavor. There are nutella at the bottom of the taiyaki! The only down side of this was that I could taste the taiyaki was not freshly made at all. You get to choose between 2 flavors of ice cream: Lemon Sorbet or Matcha. They change their ice cream flavors all the time! Taiyaki with Matcha Ice Cream + Nutella Filling ($7.75 +tx)

3.5 I liked this…read morespot but at the same time I was very sad when my Taiyaki fell apart on me. When living in Montreal this was one of the first places I visited and I was happy to because the service was nice, the ambience of the place was cool, and the food was pretty good. I'm a huge fan of poke bowls, so this place was perfect. Situated in the village is KAMEHAMEHA...cute name and lots of options here. It does get busy and they don't accept reservations so just be wary of that. For the life of me the French name of the poke bowl I had escapes me, but it had torched salmon (sort of torched at the top but not that Smokey of a torched flavour) and you could customize the toppings. The ingredients were fresh and tasted pretty good. It looked quite nice too. For dessert I wanted to try Taiyaki because it's hard to find good ice cream Taiyaki. The flavours of the ice cream change all the time to reflect the seasons (I think they had peach recently). The size is generous but that's good because the price is steep (around $10). It was tasty but the waffle was sort of flimsy for the amount of ice cream and kind of broke on me. I had custard on shoes by the time I finished, but alas it's nothing some water can't fix. I went back a few times when I was in Montreal and I'd go again!
