Yunnan Big Leaf Summer 3/5, this is a light black tea Roasted hojicha w/ salted hazelnut syrup milk tea 4/5, this just tasted like hojicha and was light overall but nice and warm Currant Events Soda 4/5, a citrusy fizzy soda Cranberry and Rosemary Scone 3/5, more rosemary than cranberry Decaf English Breakfast w/ Pumpkin Caramel Syrup and milk (hot) 3/5, quite sweet due to syrup, not very much English breakfast coming through, it was ok but not again Cocoa mint hot tea 5/5, I love mint tea, this is a more unique one as it's a blend of spearmint and peppermint. You will not taste the cacao nibs but it smells like rich dark chocolate as you get close to sip, feels v seasonal!! Butterscotch cookie 4.5/5, solid cookie, would have preferred over softer but this is such a small issue Cider spritz 2/5 let me start by stating I love fall and fall themed items, especially Cider. They have SO many teas - it's kind of amazing and overwhelming at the same time. I ended up just going with one of their specials, which was an iced hibiscus tea - really delicious and refreshing on a hot day. I asked for honey as my sweetener, but it wasn't very sweet at all. This wasn't a bad thing for me, and you can always ask for more if it's not sweet enough. I also got two scones to munch on while I was there. They have a decent selection of pastries that I believe were all made by Maillard Pastries. They were both berry scones, though I can't remember the exact flavors. One was noticeably drier than the other, but I still really enjoyed them. It was a nice snack to have with my tea. Definitely a cute spot to work or study from with solid food and drinks. If I lived closer I'm sure I'd come all the time!

All selections of tea are served with bottomless pots. For pastry menu, there's a lot of selections from Royal Tea, Full afternoon tea, Light afternoon tea, Kate's tea, Cream Tea, Dessert tea, Children's tea. On our visit, we got the Just Pear-fect, Autumn Blend, Black tea blend, Strawberry Kiwi that's perfect for children, and hot chocolate. You were encouraged to switch between the flavors vs stay with the same type of tea. This was the first afternoon tea where received a fruit and cheese board, salad, chilled fruit-yogurt soup before receiving the warm, lovely scone and the three tiers of sandwiches and sweets. Many of the sandwiches had some fruit like a slice of strawberry or peach in addition to the meat for spread. The tea china and presentation were wonderful as was our waitress. I thought it was a great value for the price. There was one bathroom on the level. Parking was around the corner or we parked farther down the street.

This was for a joint birthday party, and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved the tea, sandwiches, scones, desserts--and especially the quiches. They were eaten so quickly we didn't even get a picture! The food was absolutely amazing, with every detail thoughtfully done, right down to the clotted cream and jams. Emma even delivered everything to my home, which made the experience completely stress-free. I will absolutely be a returning customer and highly recommend Emma's Tea Spot for any special occasion (or just because!).

My cup was a very regal grey on white transfer print with a silver rim but there were many different options such as a polychromatic floral print with a gold rim. They have lots of additional ceramic pieces on display which are very cool. Our food came on cobalt blue cut crystal plates which I think is a timelessly elegant style. The tea option I got included soup which was a seasonal vegetable. A real highlight for me was the tea itself- I got the Kate Pearl blend and it was fabulous. I got some to go and when I had it at home I realized it actually contains tiny candy pearls that melt and make the tea shimmer- loved that touch but you don't notice when it's in the pot. Everything else was delicious honestly. They have a cute little store attached and you can buy the fresh scones and clotted cream there. My scone was matcha strawberry I believe and it was a seriously good scone. I've been talking about going back constantly since I was there. Honestly one of the best teas I've had in awhile (and I've been to a lot of teas). Also was a reasonable price.
