I ordered a mini they came to my house but my driveway (very short and very steep) was to small to maneuver the mini up. So 1 call to Renee and she had a moving truck the next morning for me. Fast forward 5 years. I am moving again this time the mini goes perfect in my driveway. Day 1 of loading its clear I under estimated how much stuff I had and I need another. I called Renee on a Sunday and she returned my call! She had a resolution and had another mini here in 48 hours. I will never go anywhere for my moves again. I dealt with 3 different people, one to set up, one to pick up and one to drop off. Everyone knew what I had, when and where I needed to go, and the drivers were amazing! I did not have to explain everything multiple times. Not only were they in constant contact with me about arrival or pick up times, they drove those things with such precision! There was a little hand holding (which I needed) and some guidance on making sure everything was tied securely. Not one thing was damaged or scratched! In September 2015 I came back to CT and requested to get into my storage. They were able to accommodate me and had someone there to help me find those two boxes and other things that I needed to retrieve. The guy who helped me was very nice. Then in the summer of 2016 when I moved back to CT, I had to change the date they were bringing me stuff several times (due to a change in my closing date), and they changed it without any hesitation, each time. They changed the date 3-4 times and then were professional when it was delivered. I also did not find anything broken.

Several factors contributed to our one-star rating: Exorbitant Insurance Costs - The insurance options were unreasonably priced, nearly 50% of the total move cost, and still required a deductible. This felt more like a cash grab than genuine coverage. Unfair Pricing Adjustments - We conducted a detailed video walkthrough for the company to provide an accurate quote. To cut costs, we donated five or six large, heavy furniture pieces before the move. However, the company refused to adjust the price downward, claiming that additional packing time offset the difference in volume. Poor Load Security - Our belongings were not properly secured in the moving truck. Upon delivery, multiple, heavy duty plastic totes had crushed corners, indicating a lack of care in handling. Mishandling of Fragile Items - Despite being clearly marked "FRAGILE" with arrows indicating the correct orientation, several boxes were stacked upside down or sideways, leading to unnecessary damage. Property Damage - Over $1,000 worth of damage occurred during the move, including scuffs and marks on the floors of our new home, further adding to the frustration. Communication Barriers - Of the six or seven crew members, only two spoke English, and while they were kind, it was evident that serious miscommunication was occurring throughout the process. Little John's helped me move recently and they were excellent. Although we had a lot of stuff to…read moremove, the team made quick work of my chaos. They were friendly, professional, punctual, and did a great job getting everything organized both on the truck and once the stuff was moved to the new location. They made sure I was happy with the placement of stuff in the new place before they left and I never felt rushed. My only advice if you hire these guys: they are FAST, so make sure you are ready to go when they get there and that you know where everything is going to end up (mark boxes, notes in rooms, etc). If I ever move again (hopefully not!) I'll definitely hire these guys again. Considering they are very competitively priced for the truck and the team they are worth every penny. Their price also includes a lot more than other companies. In addition to the moving team (I think it's typically 4 movers), the price includes the truck and all the equipment on the truck (blankets, dollies, etc), which isn't the case with other area movers. Do your homework, then give these guys a call.
