When I was unexpectedly widowed and decided to move long distance to be closer to family, Nathan and his team went out of their way to give me the most professional service one could expect from a moving company. My furniture was securely wrapped and packed in their truck with care. Nathan supervised the movers while he was also working, and he was insistent that everything was done correctly. They showed up on time at the beginning and at the end. I have never known a moving company to be as consistent as Calloway. After the move there were a couple of small glitches, but Nathan promptly corrected both issues at his expense. I have read other reviews on this page, but honestly, my experience was very positive. STAY AWAY! This guy is a scammer. If you give him your credit card to pay for services, you may find that month later he has submitted invoices to your credit card for $$$$$! Attempts to contact him have resulted in being blocked. He billed my card after he moved out of state and is advertising in South Carolina so since he has done it before and gets away with it, you can bet he will do it again. SCAM. The company helped me move back in January and arrived on time and helped move everything in a timely manner. However, after months of moving they charged about $1000 to my credit card though I had already previously paid the moving fee in January. Would not recommend giving card information as I had to file a fraud claim with my bank and cancel my credit card to get a new one. I have tried calling and they have not responded. read more

GREAT experience! I would recommend these guys to everyone. The first person I spoke to was Marco. He was so great at answering my questions, professional, and personable. After researching other companies around, this was definitely the best-priced quote (and no hidden fees at the end!!) Nate was the person who finished setting everything up for me. Attentive on the phone and made final reservations a breeze. The day of, it was one of the HOTTEST days of the summer. Nate who normally does not go out on the jobs, came out to help in his sandals and killed it. They were awesome and helped my roommate and I carry everything up three flights of stairs. We moved in July. Calloway sent three young men, Daquan, Ty and Luis. I can't say enough about the job these fellas did. They were very professional and extremely personable. WORST moving service you can ever imagined! We book their service as recommend by our friend, and we trusted that they will provide a very professional service, and happily put a down payment. However, they didn't showed up at all and we lost contact from them ever.!!!!! with no further updated! Our building have a very tight regulation on elevator using, we set a time (4:00-6:00) that would work for both. The manager called two days ago to double check the exact arriving time on moving date and we are happy that we are both clear that the truck should arrive before 4:00pm. We packed our boxed and even prepared snacks and drinks. However, we received a phone call about 3:30pm that the people in the company didn't know when to come and planed to come around 5:45, which is almost the end of our reservation for elevator, so we urged them to come earlier and they promise to come by 4:20. Ever since we spoke on phone around 4:00pm and we lost contact with the company. We made about 20 called to contact any number we can find, either on their website or any number listed on google. However, we waited and waited and waited, we didn't get any calls or any update information about when they will come or if they will come. Since the time in the contract is between 4:00- 7:00 pm, so we waited until about 7:00pm and missed the opportunity to rent a uhual. We hire a group of random people on street and pay them $500 in cash to convince them to help. Since we don't have a large truck, we have to carry furnitures walking on the street and worked late until 1:00 today, and it is raining outside....I even hurt my finger and feet during the moving... read more

I don't comment very often. But this time I am extremely disappointed, and feel I have to write something. Worst moving experience ever! Did not even get to see the movers! We asked them to come at 4pm, because we reserved the moving elevator from 4 - 6. They called in the afternoon to say they would be late for about 1:30 hours, even though we emphasized the importance of being on time two days ago because our building have a rigorous moving schedule. We waited from 4 - 8 ,but heard nothing from the company. In the mean time we made tons of calls and left tons of messages and got no response. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell us they are not coming! We ended up doing all the moving ourselves, which lasted late into midnight. By the way it was raining outside. All our boxes and clothes got wet. A friend recommended this company to us. We had high hopes for them. They turned out to be totally disappointing and irresponsible. read more

Damon, am I impressed with this operation. The three guys who came to move my stuff from my house to an apt--Nate, Juan, and Josh--were exceptional. They were friendly, considerate, very careful with my things, and fast. When the house was empty and the truck was full, I was going to give them the apt key, close up the house, and take an Uber to the apt. They insisted on staying and having me ride with them. My husbamd and i hired this company to move my morher in-law and they were completely unorganized and did not have the tools they needed one of the guys smelled like a liquor store and ashtray and he was obviously intoxicated which was made worse by the fact that he was the one driving. When I complained to the owner nate he was very rude and unapologetic he acted like I was wasting his time and dis not want to be bothered and dis nothing to resolve my complaints . We also believe that things were stolen, this is a complete mess of a business, and I doubt they are a legitimate business who are not insured. Please do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to this disaster like I did. I would recommend this company to my worst enemy, so please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or money or risk your property by using this illegitimate business. read more

I hired Calloway Logistics for a move and I can't recommend them. From arriving hours late, waiting 6 hours for a repair man, being lied to through out the day as to what was going on, to being told I would be getting a check that was agreed upon after the move for poor service, that almost 4 weeks later still hasn't arrived. I have unpacked many broken items. Much of my furniture also has numerous scratches and chips. I was completely understandable with them when the truck broke down, also when an employee of theirs called the office with a boldfaced lie with me standing 2 feet away! Same employee having 3 boxes of china on a dolly, banging it down deck stairs. Things happen but when they say they were going to compensate me and didn't, I have no choice but to turn this over to my Attorney to pursue reimbursement for all damages and cost. Terrible experience. Booked them several weeks in advance of my move with a downpayment of 50 dollars. Nate Calloway said I would be contacted to confirm my move one to two days before the move. Not only did he not call me, the day before the move I called 10 times and emailed to see if they were going to come. No Response! I assumed that they were no longer going to provide services and found a new mover as my apartment complex was going to require me to leave the next day. I found a new mover. The morning of the move, I get a phone call from the driver saying he was calling to say he would arrive in an hour. I told him that I hadn't received any confirmation and had to find a new company. He admitted that communication with Nate has broken down and that he only received notice of the move the night before. He apologized and said my downpayment would be refunded. Not only did that not happen, but one week after the move I received two charges totaling 5000 dollars, for a move that never happened, that was estimated to be 500 dollars in the first place. Again Nate Calloway has been unreachable and no one is responding to my email. I contacted the driver, whose phone number I still have and he had no idea why I received those charges and said that he couldn't get in touch with anyone in the company either. Now I am filing a police report and going through my credit card company to refute the charges. What a nightmare. read more
